Eve's POV.
When lunch was over, Sky and I cleaned up and walked out of the practice room. Aili saw Jazzy and Kayla and parted ways with us to go walk with them, so Sky and I continued to walk down the hallway.
"Ahh!!! Can you believe you got asked!! I'm so happy for you!! DO YOU THINK HE'LL WEAR A MATCHING SUIT?!?! Cause girl, your dress is gorgeous, imagine his suit, UGH you guys are gonna be the hottest couple there, I'm telling you ---"
"We're not a couple."
"Shut up, I'm talking; Now, do you think it'll be like a color-coordination thing with your guys' outfits, or a color-contrast kinda thing? I don't know, but---"
"Eve!"
I stopped mid-sentence so she could actually say something (because I'm a good friend like that).
"How 'bout we talk about you getting asked?"
"... No."
She huffs heavily. "'No?!' Why not?!"
"BECAUSE I WANT TO CELEBRATE YOU FOR ONCE."
"Well, we had that moment already; IT'S YOUR TURN!!"
I give her the, "Seriously?" look and she returns it back, clearly mocking me. We got to the main building and walk up the stairs to our class, waiting for the bell to ring.
----
"Eve!" I heard someone call from behind me as I pivot my body.
"Hey Gisella. You ready for the dance you guys are learning for the musical?"
"Yeah!! I'm so excited!" She ecstatically replies.
This is Gisella. She is super happy and bubbly, but also super sassy and ambitious. She's just a thespian as much as I am. Think about how passionate I am about certain things, and multiply that by fifty. That's Gisella for ya. Also, she has ten times the amount of energy I have in the mornings.
"Are you ready for... whatever you're doing?!"
"... I think I'm doing accents today. I suck at accents, so... maybe?"
"Mmm," She nods her head in understanding, "Well I'm sure you'll do fine. All you have to do is look up videos and practice, right?"
"I guess." I shrug.
"Oh my gosh, Eve."
"Yeah?"
"Guess what!!"
"What?"
"Dale and I kissed yesterday!!"
I forced a smile. The only thing about Gis, is... boys get into her head a lot, and I try to stop her when I can. I don't even know how many guys she's kissed, then broke off after a week or so.
"Woah, Gisella... You just got over Edmund... is it really the best idea to go hook up with another guy?"
"That is why I have you! You keep me out of trouble! And we didn't hook up, are you kidding me? We kissed."
