Chapter 4

Sky's POV.

I stare at the clock on the monitor in front of me, waiting for it to turn to 11:30.

"I can not wait to get out of this class." I whisper to the person sitting next to me.

"Same." she replied.

11:30 A.M.

The second everyone saw the time, they logged off of the computer as fast as they could and ran out the door.

I stood up quickly, and walked calmly out the door. I waited outside of Eve's science class so we could walk to the choir room together.

I saw the door open and eventually Eve walked out.

"So, how was science with coffee boy?" I asked her.

"How did you know he was in my class?" She questioned.

"I saw him walk in on my way into computers." I answered.

"Well, turns out he is some type of science wizard because he finished the worksheet in 5 minutes, and really? Coffee boy?" She furrowed her eyebrows at me.

"Hey, he works at a coffee shop and he's a boy! Therefore he is coffee boy." I say and we get to our lockers. I got everything I needed for my next two classes then waited for Eve to get her choir binder.

"Okay so who's taking who to the mall because I know we can't cram everyone into your car or my car." I asked.

"Ugh, this is why our friends need to get their license!" Eve exclaims.

"Well, Josh is a year younger than us, so he's not old enough, Drew got his but he can't drive other people around and Aili is waiting until she's 18 so she doesn't have to take drivers ed. Anyway who am I taking and who are you taking?"

"I don't know, we can figure that out after school." She said, finally grabbing her binder.

We walked down the hallway, passing the lunchroom.

*skip to after school*

We eventually got everyone to the mall after about 20 minutes of figuring out who goes in which car.

"Okay, which store first?" Aili asked.

"Oooh Gamestop?" Drew suggested.

"No."

"Sure." Me and Aili replied at the same time.

"Well I have to get something for my neighbors' kids birthday, so I'm gonna go with him and we'll meet you guys later." I said walking toward the store.

"Okay text us when you're done!" Eve yelled.

Me and Drew walked into the store and he imediently went to look at Nintendo switch games.

"I thought you were going to ask Becca if she could come to the mall with us." I said to him.

"Yeah her cousin is in town so she couldn't come." He answered, not looking up from the game he was holding.
