"I'm a bitch."

"No you're not."

"I broke up with my boyfriend on the best date he's ever been on, I crushed his soul."

"Join the club." Aubrey raised her glass to mine and I clinked it, sighing before taking a drink.

"He told me he loved me." I grumbled, stirring the ice in my margarita with the tiny umbrella.

"Did you say it back?"

"No."

"Then you're fine. It's not like you led him on or anything."

"Isn't that what dating is?"

"Ok!" She put her hands up in the air. "We're done talking about dating and boys and we're done being sorry, ok?"

I nodded sadly, looking up at the bartender. "Another one."

"No," Aubrey said to the man just as he was about to make me another drink. "She won't have another one."

"Why not?" I whined, licking the alcohol off of an ice cube.

"Because somebody is going to buy it for you."

"Aubrey-"

"One night stands are great after break ups. You're single! Be proud of it! You can mess with whoever you want now. How about that guy?" She pointed to a guy in the corner who was playing darts.

"He's gay."

"No he's not."

"Aubrey, his jeans are too tight for him to be straight."

"So what? He likes tight jeans."

"Wait for it," I said watching as his male friend came over and gave him a high five, then kissed him on the lips. "Bee doo bee doo my gaydar is going off."

Aubrey scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Let's try again."

I looked around the bar for another hot guy and my eyes landed on a man sitting a few seats down wearing a suit, swirling whiskey around in a crystal glass. "What about him? He looks cute." I said, about to go sit down next to him.

"Nope," Aubrey grabbed my arm and pulled me back onto the bar stool. "Married. Honey, you don't want to hit that, next thing you know his wife is walking on you two doing it in his office."

I shivered thinking about my experience at work, the thought making me sick to my stomach. "Next." I scoped the bar again, looking for anyone I had missed. The door opened and a rugged looking guy came in covered in tattoos. "Look at him-"

"Alcoholic."

"How do you even know who I'm talking about?"

"I see him come in here every morning on my way to work."

"Aubrey, it's a one night stand, it won't matter." I said, angrily jabbing my umbrella into my drink.

"It will when he finds you again and asks for money. Keep looking."

I noticed a handsome looking, well put together guy walking towards us, hands tucked into his jeans.

"I've got one." I whispered to Aubrey, turning back around to make it look like I didn't see him.

He leaned up against the counter next to me, casting me a charming smile. He smelled so good. "Hey," God, his voice was really sexy too. "Can I buy you ladies a drink?"

I smiled up at him, about to say yes when Aubrey butted in. "She has gonorrhea."

He frowned and looked at me for a second, making me burn bright red before he walked away.
