Within your Heart?

A lot of the time I find we complain that we don't have a wife/hubby, but I reflected on something that completely changed how I look at it.

Perhaps you have a person in mind, while Allaah has written someone much better than them!

It could be that the only reason you haven't married or come across them yet, is because while they're the best person for you, maybe you're not the best person for them.

Maybe Allaah has written that you two will only get together when you reach a certain level in eeman.

Can't you see that the problem isn't always on the outside, but sometimes it's on the inside, within your heart?

Don't you see how beautiful Allaah is, and how He takes great care of His servants, in the most subtle of ways?

So maybe instead of complaining about how you don't have a wife/hubby, maybe you should spend time fixing the state of your heart and your soul, and once you do, Allaah will send you the person He preserved just for you!
