Merry Muslim?!

'Merry Muslim ?' You will ask yourself. 'What is she talking about?'

Yea, unfortunately, I am ...

You see a few days ago we were having a conversation with our english teacher about Christmas and how people react to this holiday (and which I will be talking about in a few) so she told us about her nephew.

He is a small kid and came back from school singing "we wish you a merry Christmas..." So she told him that we are muslims and that we do not celebrate this holiday and he shouldn't be singing this. So he continued to sing but as : "we wish you a merry ... muslim..." what does that means ? Well it have no meaning and that shows us how cute kids are and how he understood what his aunt wanted to say. (Mashaa'Allah May Allah bless him)

So from here I am gonna be talking about Christmas which I am late to anyway ... BUT there is always for the next time and as a reminder.

As a Muslims I don't see why we shouldn't celebrate that right ? WHAT??????

What's Christmas anyway ???

Christmas is this time of the year where CHRISTIANS celebrate the BIRTH of JESUS. (Ps. They take as he is the son of Allah) Astaghfiru Allah!

first of all as a muslim we should believe in Jesus (his name in arabic is Issa) as he is one of the prophets, his mother is our lady Mariam (or as Marie). And he is born without a father.
I am not gonna go in deep details...

So did u ever think that if Allah wanted us to, he would have mentioned in the Quran when did prophet Issa was born? Yea ?

Do u actually know that even in the bible it is not mentioned and that someone did creat this day as the birth of Issa (AS) ?

Do u know that most Christians doesnt actually believe in this ?

Do u know that in the Quran it was mentioned how he was born ?

First of all :  he lived in palastine,  and at that time (25 December) the weather was so cold. (It snow back there).

When his mother gave birth to him (that was a miracle cz she was all alone) Allah have grown a date tree which look NONE as the one, people nowaday decorate. And which do not grow in cold weather. Not even in winter.

And do you actually believe that she sat on the snow and gave birth to Issa (AS) ?

I am not sure what will you say to this ... so let's talk about another thing ;

Whatever was the case it still is a Christian's holiday. NOT MUSLIMS !

And u know we are ? MUSLIMS  right ?

So I am not so sure why some of us "muslims" celebrate with them !! DO THEY CELEBRATE WITH US THE BOTH EIDs ? DO THEY ? DO THEY EVEN DECORATE WITH US ?

don't tell me that you respect their holidays so u are celebrating to !! THEY DOESN'T EVEN CARE IF WE HAVE A HOLIDAY OR NOT. And HEEY I DID NOT SAY DO NOT RESPECT. We should respect everyone's beliefs. We should act as the prophet Mohammed ( PBUH ) told us to.

I mean don't go saying bad words about the holidays, don't go distroying their trees and what so ever. Leave them and just don't interact with them about this subject. (Bcz some of us live in a non muslim countries )

BUT DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT CELEBRATE WITH THEM BECAUSE THIS IS HARAAM. THIS IS A BIG WRONG DOING !

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever imitates a people is one of them.’” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, al-Libaas, 3512. Al-Albaani said in Saheeh Abi Dawood, (it is) hasan saheeh. No. 3401).

■■■Al-Munaawi and al-‘Alqami said: i.e., dressing as they dress, following their way of life in clothes and some of the things they do.

■■■Al-Qaari said: i.e., whoever imitates the kuffaar, such as in how one dresses, etc., or imitates the evil and immoral people, or the Sufis or the righteous, is one of the people whom he imitates, whether they are good or bad.                                                        

■■■Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said in al-Siraat al-Mustaqeem: Imaam Ahmad and others quoted this hadeeth as evidence. This hadeeth at the very least implies that it is haraam to imitate them, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“... And if any amongst you takes them [Jews and Christians] as Awliyaa’ [friends, helpers]), then surely, he is one of them…”

[al-Maa’idah 5:51]

■■■ This is similar to the view of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr who said: “Whoever settles in the land of the mushrikeen and celebrates their Nawroz (new year) and Mahrajaan (festival) and imitates them until he dies will be gathered with them on the Day of Resurrection.”

So yea why not right? It's okay if we became kuffar Right? Its is okay to go to hell !!

I mean what are u gaining from this ? Decorating a tree ? Exchanging gifts ? what ? Wait for santa? Who have NO EXCISTANCE ???

what are you people ? Don't you see how we are showing a bad image of our religion?

We are showing how muslims are weak and celebrate everything. AND ON THEIR OWN HOLIDAYS THEY DECORATE AS IF IT'S THE FIRST TIME THEY EVER SAW A DECORATION !!!

why? Because I respect them ... yea well RESPECT THEM AND FORGET TO RESPECT YOURSELF AND YOUR DEEN. FORGET ABOUT YOUR LORD AND YOUR PROPHET ! IT'S OKAY !! I UNDERSTAND. YEA YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN !

AND HELL? YEA HELL IN NOTHING BUT A FIRE WHICH WILL JUST HEAL ! NO DUDES NO !! WHAT IS HARAAM IS HARAAM YOU CAN NOT CHANGE IT . YOU CAN NOT ADD ANYTHING TO IT. YOU CAN NOT FORGET THAT IT IS WRONG !!!

I mean some people even buy a tree and decorate it and put it in their houses !!! WHAT DID EVER HAPPEN TO YOU ?

I guess by what you are doing , you are showing us thay u are not a muslim anymore ! BECAUSE TRUE MUSLIMS WHO FOLLOW THE MESSAGE OF OUR DEAR PROPHET MOHAMMED ( PBUH ) DO NOT DO THIS ! DO NOT IMITATE OTHER UN-MUSLIMS...

and that do apply on many other holidays and actions as :
- new year
- mother's day
- father's day
- holloween
- valentine's day (WHICH ISN'T A CHRISTIANS HOLIDAY AND THE STORY OF IT IS SO BAD !!! I DONT KNOW HOW PEOPLE EVEN CELEBRATE IT!!)
- easter
- Christmas
- teacher's day
- thanks giving

AND A LOT MORE !!!

I mean we should always be good, always wish happy wishes, always have manners .. NOT JUST ONE DAY A YEAR !!! FOR EXAMPLE : mother's day ? Can't you be good to ur mom every day ? Can't u bring her a gift when ever u see something nice and that fit on ur mom ? Can't you always think of her ?

I DON'T KNOW U PEOPLE AND I SURELY DON'T KNOW YOUR INTENTIONS ...  but I hope u think very carefully before u celebrate these or any stuff.
