i walk to school, more tired than usual. i had a black stachel type bag, black converse, grey jeans, my signature cancer jumper and a hidden crab good luck charm. i also had my grey contact lenses in. thank gog, well dad, this school doesnt require a uniform. i see Eridan practically marching up to the school, pouting slightly. He carried a purple backpack, dark blue trainers, those terrible dark blue and purple stripped trousers that kanaya always hated, his scarf and his signature aquarius long sleeved shirt. thank goodness he didnt decide to wear his purple cape or else he would have been the first troll to be bullied. i shrug and walk up to him
"hey Eridan, so you actually decided to come to this shit hole?"
he rolls his eyes "hey kar, and i really didnt get a choice in the matter"
"oh, dad force you huh?"
"yep" he pops the p
"well at least we can both suffer. any class your looking forward to?"
"art"
"really?" i sound surprised
"you sound surprised"
"oh, i just didnt peg you as an artsy guy"
" wwhat wwould you havve pegged me as?"
"a history nut"
"wwhat really?"
"yeah, didnt you always used to read shitty alternian history books?"
"Yeah alternian history is interestin, but human history doesnt float my boat"
i chuckle " says the sea dweller"
he laughs softly and i smile
"wait, am i smiling? i never fucking smile. whats happening with me?! this is too weird. fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, STOP SMILING ME!" i think.
i stop smiling, trying to hide the fact that i did in the first place.
"kar you should smile more"
"nah, incase you didnt notice during the game, im a misserable piece of shit"
he just sighs. we walk into the school building, a lot of people we know were talking to people and standing with friends
"welcome to hell" i say, a plain expression on my face
he groans " can i back out noww?"
" not unless you want the P.E teacher finding out you arent here"
"Ugh physical activvities cull me noww"
" were already dead genious"
" kill me again"
"not in the mood" i mumble as i start walking. he smiles slightly
"wwhat havve you got?"
" uuuhh hang on" i take out my timetable thing and look at monday
"modern studies, double cooking, double music, maths and child education"
he smiles a little more, i look at him
" why are you smiling?"
"wwe havve cooking and music together"
"oh"
"wwhat?"
"nothing!"
he looks at me curiously, i roll my eyes
" i just didnt expect we would have classes together, let alone that you can cook"
" Hey! i can cook some things!" he says defensively, folding his arms
" i just didnt expect it, gog dont tear my fucking head off"
" kar, i dont dig death anymore
"you digged it when we walked in" i smirk
"Yeah because i thought id havve classes wwith losers"
"you still do"
" nah"
"uh, yah, you do"
before we can continue our *conversation*, the bell rings. i say bye to eridan and start heading to my class. as i walk away i can hear eridan groan. i swear to gog hes a wriggler half the time.
heres a little insight to how the school works. you get 7 periods a day, 5 on friday. each period is either 45, 50 or 55 minuets long. you get double periods when in 4th year and beyond all up till 6th year. after the first 3 periods you get a 15 minuet break time, then the next 2 periods then lunch, and after lunch all you have left is 2 more periods and boom! hometime. the reason we get a half day on friday is because, well..... actually no one knows but we dont complain. the quicker we're out the school, the happier everyone else is. in the school you get support groups and extra activity groups. theres a group for comic books, learning different languages, depression and anxiety support (which is one im going to be joining) and many many more. me being the age i am, im put right into fourth year along with john, dave, rose, jade and everyone else. kankri was put into fith year with all his friends and others too. And unfortunately, the parents all teach a subject. the reason i said that the P.E teacher would find out eridan isnt at school, is because his dad, Dualscar Ampora, is the P.E teacher. my dad, Signless Vantas, is the religious studies teacher. ironic i know. Psiionic is the computing teacher, Desciple is the art teacher, Dolorosa is a pupil support teacher, Condence is the deputy head teacher, Darkleer is the robotics teacher, Summoner is the coach for the school football team, Handmaid is a first aider, GHB is... well.... he moves between cooking teacher and talent show judge, Redglare is the schools police officer and Mindfang is the drama teacher. we do have other teachers for the rest of the subjects, but i cant remember who they are. but who cares honestly? i just wanna get this day over with
