2. First day on set

The cab horn was noticeable for the whole building, I was packing the last thing I needed for today, my first day. I ran downstairs, to the cab and stepped inside as I told the address. I paid the driver the right amount of money and walked on set. I was ten minutes early so I decided to smoke a cigarette while I waited. I lighted my cigarette and took a first drag as Anthony noticed me standing alone, he walked up to me.

"Hi Tilly, ready for the first day?" he asked me, I smiled up to him.

"Yeah, a bit nervous but everything will be alright, I don't have to do a lot anyway," I told him, he smiled at me.

"That's true I guess. Look, there is Vanilla Ice!" he said to me, I looked confused at him.

"Vanilla Ice?" I asked him.

"Sebastian, I call him Vanilla Ice and he calls me Chocolate Chino, I call him sexy sea bass and he calls me Mack attack," Anthony explained to me. I smiled at him.

"You're a dork," I said, Anthony just smiled at me. Sebastian walked up to us.

"Hey there Sexy Seabass," Anthony said to him.

"Mackattack," he said to Anthony, "Hey Tilly," Sebastian said to me.

"Hey Sebastian," I said to him, smiling.

"You can call me Seb or something you know, Sebastian is so formal and long," he laughed.

"Alright Sebby," I smiled, Anthony started laughing really loud at my comment.

"Come on!" Sebby laughed as well.

"Hey, you said I could call you Seb or something," I told him, laughing. I took a last drag of my cigarette and put it out on the ground. Chris walked up to us as well now.

"Hey guys," he said to us.

"Hi Chris," we said on the same time.

"The beard is gone," I said at first, I didn't mean to say it out loud but it happened anyway.

"Yeah, I had to, it'll grow again after the movie," Chris explained to me.

"Too bad," I smiled as I walked inside, getting ready to start. The Russo Brothers were waiting for us, as soon as we were inside they started their briefing, telling which scenes they would do today and telling who needed to dress in what. They told me they wanted me to help direct, to tell them when I wanted to see something in another way since it was my story after all. They gave me my own script, which was kind of stupid since I perfectly knew which line should be said when. The first scene was between Sam and Bucky so Sebby and Anthony both went on set. Chris followed suit bus stopped once he stood next to me.

"Hey you," I said to him as he stopped next to me. Chris smiled at me but he was quiet for the next 10 minutes, which was kind of awkward since I always liked to have a conversation going even though I had to look at the scene.

"You can talk you know, I won't bite," I laughed, Chris smiled.

"I just thought because of the scene you know," he explained, I shook my head as I kept looking at the two actors who were doing their job perfectly.

"No, no, I'd rather have a conversation going than an awkward silence, and I'm a woman, I can do two things at the same time you know," I laughed, Chris' smile grew brighter.

"Right, I forgot for a moment, sorry," Chris said to you as he laughed a bit, I joined him in his laughter.

"Sorry for asking but how old are you? You look a bit young to work for a company like Marvel," Chris asked me, a bit shy.

"I'm 20 years old, turning 21 in a few weeks," I told him.

"Okay, I'm officially old," Chris told me, I laughed at his comment. It was quiet for a few moments as the two actors finished their scene.

"All done!" I clapped my hands and jumped up and down. Chris laughed at my childish behaviour. Joe and Anthony Russo came up to me, to add some adjustments I think.

"I'll see you later Tilly, it's time for my make-up anyway," Chris said as he kissed my cheek lightly. Mackie, of course, noticed the kiss Chris gave me. When Chris was out of sight Anthony winked at me before he went off too.

"So what did you think?" Joe asked me. I nodded my head.

"It was good, but I'd change Bucky's way of walking in. He now just walks in and the fight start after it, maybe we could have Bucky coming in in another way?" I asked the brothers.

"That was what we were thinking, what do you think about Bucky jumping in, through a hole in the ceiling while Sam yells something like 'show off'?" Anthony proposed, I smiled.

"Good idea! That definitely sounds like something Sam and Bucky would do," I told them, smiling.

"Thanks for the feedback, I'll get the changed into the script and call you when we restart the scene because I have no idea where Sebastian and Anthony are," Joe told me before they walked off.

Mackie soon jumped in front of me.

"Joe and Anthony are looking for you! They want to redo the scene, we made somme changes,"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's not important, what important is is that Chris likes you!"

"I just met him! Same goes for you!" I exclaimed. How could he think something like that!

"I saw what I saw," Anthony laughed, I sighed as he walked away once again.

On lunch break all the actors sat down outside on a picnic table. I followed the actors outside with my food. I sat down next to Paul Bettany and opposite of Elizabeth Olsen. All the actors knew each other of course, I only knew Chris, Anthony and Sebby. I was rather quiet because of the fact that I knew no one, but of course Elizabeth started talking to me.

"Hey, Tilly right?" she asked me. I nodded my head.

"That's me," I answered her.

"Welcome on set! It's going to be fun, I promise," she told me, I smiled at her.

"Thanks, Elizabeth," I told her, she smiled.

"Oh, you can call me Liz or Lizzie or something, only my mother calls me Elizabeth," she said to me, I smiled at her.

"Lizzie it is," I told her.

"I want to invite everyone for a little welcome party tonight, at my place!" she yelled at everyone, I could feel like everyone was family for each other already, even though I don't know half of the people here.

"I"m sure you're going to have fun tonight!" I said to Lizzie when she sat back down, she looked confused at me.

"No, no Tilly you have to come! You can meet the rest of the cast and it's going to be so much fun!" Lizzie exclaimed, I smiled.

"I'll try but I don't have a ride," I explained to her, she looked around until her eye fell on Chris.

"I'm sure Chris wouldn't mind if you drove with him, right Chris?" she asked him, Chris looked confused at her but nodded anyway.

"Yeah sure, just text me the address and I'll pick you up," Chris told me when he finally knew what Lizzie was talking about. I texted him my address immediately before I could forget.
