We had been working on the house for a week, every room had been repainted, every bit of cutlery had been washed again. We were finally finishing the last bit of the house, we had been moving for a week straight, painting, placing the furniture, and now everything was finished. Well not everything, there were still things Chris and I had to do, like hanging up some family pictures, buying some things to make the house warmer like candles and stuff but the main part was done, all we had to do now were simple and easy.

Chris and I were exhausted, but kept moving things around until we were ready. Sebby and Camilla had helped us wherever they could, Camilla had to go to work several times but at least they tried to help as much as they could. In the past week I got to know Camilla more and I was pleased to say we were getting really close. While Chris and Seb talked about all manly things like sports, me and Camilla enjoyed our girl-time. But the week ended and Camilla had to go to work again, full time.

Chris and I decided it was time to go outside after a day of rest, we both wanted our house to finish completely so we had to go shopping for the last few bits. Chris and I drove towards the shop for some frames for the pictures, or so I thought.

Chris stopped in front of a garage or a car dealer. He knew I liked Volkswagen a lot so he had driven to a Volkswagen garage. I knew where he was going with this and I didn't like it one bit.

"No," I told him sternly.

"See it as an early birthday present," Chris told me before he got out of the car, not saying another word. I had two options: staying in the car or getting out. I knew if I got out Chris had won our little discussion, but I knew if I stayed in the car, Chris would ignore me and buy me a car anyway. I don't know why he was so obsessed with buying a car for me. I stayed seated in the car for another 5 minutes before I decided if he was going to buy me a car I wanted to choose the type so I got out.

"That was easier than I thought," Chris commented as he took my hand and walked inside. I huffed in response, showing him I didn't agree just yet. Chris and I walked around a bit, looking at some types of cars before a seller approached us.

"Can I help you with something?" the seller asked us.

"We wanted to get a second car," Chris answered before I could tell the seller we were just looking around.

"Alright, what type of car did you want?" the seller asked Chris, kind of ignoring me.

"We don't know yet, it would be the car of my girlfriend, she has to drive to school every day so I wanted to get her a car that is solid," Chris answered him again, but clearly emphasizing the 'We' in his answer.

"We have a lot of cars that would be perfect for that occasion, I would recommend the Golf, Beetle of Scirocco since the car wouldn't be used as a first car, these types are firm, yet gently to drive around and they are easier to park since they aren't that big either," the seller recommended us.

"Are these types any different from the ones in Europe?" I asked the seller, talking the first time.

"Not really, the idea of the types is the same, but there are little details that are a little different, but these differences are mainly in the options," the seller explained to me, satisfied with the answer I kept my mouth shut.

"What would you recommend us?" Chris asked, hoping to get a straight answer.

"For your girlfriend? I would recommend the Golf, it's easier to drive since you have a clear vision around the car, while sitting in the Scirocco or the Beetle you won't have a vision that is as clear as the one you'll get in the Golf," the seller told him, not knowing I used to drive in a Beetle.

"Don't worry about the vision around the car," I told Chris, he didn't knew what car I used to drive back in Belgium.

"I used to drive a Beetle from 2004 in Belgium, I'm used to it," I smiled to him as I let his hand go and walked around again, looking at the three types of cars the seller told us. I didn't notice but both Chris and the seller stopped talking to look at me, both interested in me.

"Do you prefer one of them?" Chris asked as he was done staring and walked up to me, the seller following suit.

"I would go for the Beetle, since I learned to drive in it," I smiled to him as I took his hand again. The seller told us to follow him to his office.

The seller asked us which options we wanted, I already knew Chris wanted me to have the best of the best, while I would've been content with a second handed car. Chris and I discussed every option, while I knew Chris would say yes to every option, even if I told him I didn't have to have that option.

In the end, I only got to decide the color of the car, which I chose to be dark blue. Chris had taken almost every option there was unless I really didn't want it, like the cabriolet version. Although he did take the sunroof option.
