Chris had made breakfast that day, making sure I ate enough before he went all stressed. I placed my dishes in the sink and embraced Chris from behind. He relaxed a little and sighed.
"Just breathe Chris, everything will be alright tonight, don't worry," I told him as I kissed his neck softly, Chris turned around quickly.
"I know, it's just -" Chris started, but didn't finish his sentence.
"Your anxiousness? Don't worry, I'm here, everything will be alright," I assured him. Chris sighed and smiled softly.
"Yeah, I'm a bit-" Chris tried to say.
"Shhh," I shushed him, I went to his back and massaged his shoulders lightly. His shoulders instantly relaxed to my touch and let his head fell forward. He groaned lightly.
"Come on, let's relax a bit, Aladdin or the Lion King?" I asked him as I stopped massaging him, knowing he would relax more with a Disney movie.
"Aladdin," he told me, I immediately placed the DVD in the player and sat down on the couch next to him. I knew Chris probably didn't sleep a lot so I decided to grab the blanket and threw it over him as I cuddled close to him. After half an hour I noticed small snores coming from him, as I looked up I saw that he was in a deep sleep, he softly moved his hands and his head while he dreamt. I stood up and turned off the TV, quietly so I wouldn't wake my boyfriend. I started to do the dishes, cleaned the bedroom and went on a walk with Dodger, when I was done doing these things, Chris was still sleeping.
I decided I could shower already since it was 3 pm, after my shower I first checked in with Chris. I walked up to him in my towel, walking quietly, trying not to wake him. I saw he opened his eyes as soon as he heard me walking to him.
"Good morning sleepyhead," I smiled up to him, he smiled back.
"How long did I sleep?" he asked me as he looked for his phone.
"For about 4 hours I think, your phone is on the table," I pointed at the table.
"I knew you hadn't gotten a lot of sleep last night so I thought I should let you sleep a little while," I told him, he kissed my temple as soon as he gotten his phone.
"Thank you baby," he smiled, still a bit tired.
"If you want you can sleep a little while longer? Or I could make you some food?" I suggested, still a bit worried about him, he smiled at my bad attempts to help him.
"Don't worry, I'm a grown man, I can take care of myself, you can get ready for tonight if you want," he pointed out, since I was still in a towel.
"It's still too early, I just wanted to be showered already," I told him, Chris smiled.
"Alright, I'm going to take a shower and make us something to eat afterwards okay? You can relax for a bit," Chris told me as he went to the bathroom. I quickly changed into some sweatpants and a tank top as I started making some pasta for the two of us, not knowing what to do else.
We both didn't eat a lot, Chris because of his anxiousness he was trying to hide from me, and me because I was worried about Chris. I placed the leftovers in the fridge and went to the bedroom to get my dress, I changed and did my make-up and hair. Chris did the same and before we both knew it we left for the premiere.
We decided not to hire a limo since it would get a lot of attention, we took a cap. I sat down next to Chris as I noticed he was rather quiet during the ride. I took his hand in mine as I squeezed it, letting him know I was there for him. When we arrived Chris took several deep breaths before he stepped out of the cap, I paid the driver and got out as well. I looked around, seeing all different interviewers, fans, actors and so much more. Chris breathed deeply one more time before he took my hand and walked on the red carpet. The moment his foot touched the carpet several interviewers called for him, asking if he wanted to come over. After a few steps Chris walked towards an interviewer, me standing next to him.
"Hello Chris Evans," the interviewer started.
"Who's your date tonight?" he asked the muscular man next to me.
"This is my girlfriend Tilly, who worked on the set as the writer," Chris simply answered, I chuckled softly.
"Was this your first movie?" the interviewer asked before he pushed the microphone in my direction, I was a bit straddled but answered the question anyway.
"Uh, yeah, it's actually unbelievable that the first movie I worked on is one of Marvel's," I chuckled softly, Chris looked at me the whole time I talked.
"How was working with your girlfriend on set, Chris?" the interviewer asked him.
"Well, she wasn't exactly my girlfriend when we were filming, it all came after that," Chris explained. The interviewer closed the interview and we went to the next one. We did this a few more times before we heard someone call my name.
"Tilly! Over here," an interviewer called, it got my attention because it was the first time they called my name, usually it was just Chris' name. Chris noticed this too and went to the interviewer with me.
"Hello Tilly and Chris, how is everything going?" she asked us. We both nodded.
"Everything is going well, thanks for asking," I answered for the both of us.
"Your welcome, did you have fun shooting for this movie?" she asked Chris, Chris smiled, happy that finally someone asked a question that was not about our relationship.
"Yeah, we had a lot of fun, on and off set. Our group has gotten even closer and we have a new member too," he told her as he took my hand in his, I noticed his hand was a bit clammy, but I didn't think anything of it.
"Now, about something completely else, I noticed you got a lot of hate these last days, how have you been coping with it?" she asked me, my mood immediately dropped but I forced a smile anyway.
"I don't like the hate, no one does but I try not to think about it-" I started explaining as I noticed Chris starting to hyperventilate. He immediately let go of my hand and placed it on his chest, trying to help him breath. I quickly took his hand in mine and pulled him somewhere more private, where the camera's weren't pointed to him, or so I thought.
"Breathe Chris, follow me," I told him as I placed both of my hands on his shoulders. I started breathing in for about 3 counts, I hold my breath for about 3 counts and breathed out for 3. Chris shook his head, pointing to his throat, telling me he couldn't breath. His eyes had started to tear up.
"Come on Chris, just try, in and out," I told him as I started breathing deep and slow again. Chris tried and after a few minutes he was breathing the same as me. I placed one of my hands on his cheek and looked in his eyes.
"I couldn't breathe," he told me, a few tears escaped his eyes, I smiled softly at him.
"You're okay now, don't worry," I told him quietly, Chris embraced me in a tight hug.
"Thank you, I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't helped me," Chris told me, I kissed his cheek.
