I sat down in front of the TV, Dodger laying at my feet. I had some chips and a beer on the side table and I was ready to watch the show.
"Our guess tonight is not a stranger to any of us, he has been here several times, here is Chris Evans!" Jimmy said in a very enthusiastic way. Chris walked in, wearing a grey suit, a white shirt and a black tie.
"Hello Jimmy," Chris said to the interviewer as he crossed his legs.
"Hello Chris, how are you today?" Jimmy started the interview with some easy questions to relax Chris, knowing he could get anxious if he immediately started with tough questions.
"I'm alright, how about you?" Chris asked Jimmy, the latter smiled at his question.
"I'm fine thank you," Jimmy smiled at Chris.
"Now, now, some little bird told me you have a girlfriend now," Jimmy told Chris, his face immediately lighted up by the sound of the word 'girlfriend'.
"Yeah, about a few months now," Chris told Jimmy, smiling brightly.
"Congratulations! How is she?" Jimmy asked Chris.
"She's great! God, she's, she's perfect. She helped me so much already, she respects me, she so sweet, to everyone. She's so adorable, my family loves her so much already, she-," Chris rambled about me.
"Wait you're saying your family met her already?" Jimmy asked Chris, Chris smiled and shook his head.
"Yeah, Scott asked her to come, I didn't even know she was coming! She surprised me for the weekend, apparently I was rambling to much about her," Chris laughed, Jimmy started laughing too.
"She must be something if your family loves her so much already," Jimmy commented on Chris, I took a sip of my beer and looked at the TV again.
"She certainly is, yeah," Chris told Jimmy, still showing his beautiful smile.
"I mean, she stays at my place a lot and ever since she met Dodger, he refuses to listen to me, every time she comes by, Dodger just stops listening to me, he only listens to her," Chris laughed.
"Your dog prefers her?" Jimmy asked Chris to be sure, Chris nodded his head, actually smiling about it.
"Even Dodger knows how amazing she is," Chris told Jimmy.
"You do actually love her, don't you?" Jimmy asked Chris, fishing for some details.
"Yeah, I do love her," Chris laughed after he admitted it.
"Why are you laughing about this?" Jimmy asked Chris, smiling.
"Well, I never actually admitted to her, this is the first time I'm telling anyone this and she's watching the show right now," Chris explained, Jimmy and the people in the audience started laughing.
"It's time for a break!" Jimmy commented after he stopped laughing and the TV went over in commercials but soon the show started again.
"Welcome back! But Chris, there was something you wanted to talk about wasn't it?" Jimmy asked Chris, I already knew where this was going.
"Yeah, she is getting a lot of hate these days, and I can't figure out why you know? I'm so happy with her, she's the first girl that ever made me feel like this and I definitely don't want to lose her," Chris started.
"She tells everyone she doesn't pay much attention to it, and I know she tries to, but she does feel miserable every time someone says something hateful to her. And not only her, but I do too feel miserable you know? It's like I should have kept her private, so she wouldn't get all the hate she gets," Chris explains, I knew he felt miserable about it, but I never knew he felt like this because he thought it was his fault.
"Is that why you had the panic attack a few days ago?" Jimmy asked Chris, the host of the show showed real concern.
"Yeah, I was pretty anxious even before we walked on the red carpet because it was the first time I would bring Tilly with me, I would show her to the world and I hoped she would get some questions but the press only focussed on me or on our relationship. I was getting more and more anxious and Tilly knew that so we were walking as fast as we could so we would be inside where I could calm down but on a certain moment someone called our her name, I was the first to walk towards the lady of the press because Tilly would finally get some questions you know, I wanted her to feel the same as me. The only question the lady asked was about the hate she was getting and I just flipped I guess. I started panicking and started to hyperventilate, I was lucky Tilly pushed me in a less crowded place and calmed me down," Chris explained, I was kind of proud because he actually wanted me to feel the way he was supposed to feel on the red carpet, getting the attention.
"She actually helped you?" Jimmy asked, to make sure everyone knew I helped him.
"Yeah, she told me to calm down and helped me breathe," Chris told the host. Jimmy seemed a bit surprised by Chris' story.
"I'm glad you found such a good girlfriend," Jimmy commented, Chris smiled.
"And that lady's and gentlemen, was Chris Evans!" Jimmy ended the show.
