After a few days to relax again, without a fight, Chris admitted something. It wasn't a big promise, although for him it was. Chris being all romantic he first sent me away with an excuse for the afternoon.
"Scarlett asked if you wanted to babysit Rose for a few hours," Chris asked me, I was kind of suspicious because I knew Scarlett would've asked me herself if she wanted me to.
"Sure, let me give her a call," I smiled to Chris, who smiled back and left the room. Scarlett admitted she needed a babysit, she needed to meet up with Rose her dad. I told her I would babysit Rose for a few hours.

"Chris? Do you want to come with me?" I yelled into the apartment, knowing Chris would hear me.
"No, Seb and Anthony are coming over," Chris yelled back from the living room.
"Can you give me a lift?" I asked him when I walked into the living room. I still didn't have my own car which meant Chris drove me literally everywhere.
"You can use my car if you want?" Chris asked me, I looked over at him, confused.
"Really? I mean it's your car though," I asked him to be sure, he just gave me the keys.
"I trust you, but we should look for a car for you someday," Chris smiled, knowing I hated to ask for a lift every time.
"That's true, but I should look for a job before we get me  car," I smiled to him before I pecked his lips. Chris' hands immediately went to my waist as mine went to his neck and hair. Chris deepened the kiss as he asked for entrance, which I refused.
"I should be going, Scarlett is waiting," I smiled to my boyfriend.
"She can wait for another 30 minutes," Chris mumbled before he placed his lips on mine again.
"Chris," I told him as I broke the kiss. Chris whined before he let go of my waist.

I drove carefully to Scarlett, making sure I didn't make any scratches on the car. Once I arrived Scarlett left me with Rose, telling me she would be back in a few hours.
The next few hours went by quickly, Rose was constantly playing with her dolls, explaining everything to me before I could play along.
Rose and I were watching some TV when Scarlett came home.

"Hey Rose! Hey Tilly!" Scarlett greeted us.
"Momma!" Rose ran up to Scarlett, they embraced each other before Scarlett asked me if I wanted to stay for a drink.

"I want to, but Chris invited Seb and Mackie over, and you know how these boys can get without any surveillance," I laughed, Scarlett cracked a smile too.

"I don't get how you can survive them," Scarlett smiled.

"It's easy, act like their mum when they're acting like children," I admitted. Scarlett started laughing.

"I guess that's true!" she smiled, "Thanks for babysitting," she thanked me.
"No problem at all!" I smiled as I left their house and drove home.

Once I arrived home, Chris wasn't anywhere to be seen, neither were the boys.
"Guys? I'm home!" I yelled, hoping to get any sort of answer but I didn't. Trusting Chris, I placed my purse on the table and walked over to the bedroom, hoping I could hop in bath and have a relaxed evening.

I walked into the bedroom, to get my PJ's, when I saw Chris standing there, with a bouquet and rose petals all over the bed.

"Wha?" I couldn't even pronounce a real english word.
"Tilly? Hey," Chris spoke to me, obviously nervous as he walked slowly over to me. He handed me the bouquet, which were all pink and red roses. Chris sat down on one knee as he held a little black box in his hands, of course, I thought he was going to propose.

"I'm not going to propose Tilly," Chris spoke like he could read my mind.
"But this is a promise, I don't know if kids still do these things today but, to me it's kind of. I think of this in a romantic way," Chris opened the box while he thought of the next words.
The box, of course, contained a beautiful ring.
"Like I said, I'm not going to propose, it's a little too early for that, but this, this is a promise ring, like the once you see in movies, this ring is a promise, I will marry you one day," Chris ended his speech. I just stood there, Chris in front of me, I didn't know what to say.

"I'm speechless," I told him as I looked at the ring, it was beautiful, simple yet special, almost like it was perfect for us.
"I-" I started, but quickly stopped, should I say yes? Or would that sound stupid?
"Just promise me you will marry me one day," Chris helped me.
"Of course I would marry you one day silly! I can't even think of a future without you anymore," I confessed to him. Chris slipped the ring onto my finger before he embraced me in a loving hug.
