We would like to invite you
for a weekend over at our house,
we'd love to meet you! -Scott

I smiled at that text, knowing Chris' family wanted to meet me. But then I got nervous, what if they don't like me? What if Chris didn't want me to meet his family yet? I texted Scott back, asking if Chris knew about it and if they really wanted me there, not too soon after I got a reply back.

Chris doesn't know about it
We wanted it to be a surprise for
him.
Of course we'd want you here,
Chris hasn't stopped talking about
you! -Scott

I asked which weekend they wanted me to come and I asked for their address so I would easily find it. I missed Chris so much these past few weeks, I even missed Dodger! When Scott replied I knew I had to pack, it was Thursday today and they wanted me to come this weekend. I packed 2 T-shirts, a pull, a short, a jeans, underwear and a T-shirt from Chris as PJ.

As soon as I had packed everything I booked the train and made sure I put my alarm for the next morning since I had to travel about 4 hours and still have to take a cap afterwards. I read a book before I went to sleep.

When I woke up I called Chris, apologizing I hadn't called him yesterday because I was really tired.

"Sorry, I just fell asleep yesterday," I told him. Chris smiled nonetheless.

"That doesn't matter, I'm happy I see you now," he told me, if you only knew, I thought. We talked a bit before the kids jumped up his bed to 'wake' him. We told our goodbyes and hung up, the kids questioning Chris about who I was. I showered and got dressed as I went to the train, to travel about 4 hours before I arrived at the house.

I rang the bell as some younger version of Chris opened the door, I smiled to the stranger.

"Tilly?" the stranger asked, I nodded.

"Yeah, that's me," I told him, the younger version of Chris smiled to me too.

"I'm Scott, pleasure to meet you," he told me as he embraced me in a hug, I didn't know how to react as I froze, after a few seconds I hugged him back.

"Come in! You can give me your bag, I'll put it away for now," Scott told me, I gave him my bag before I waited for him to come back so he could lead me through the house. When Scott came back he lead me to the kitchen where an older woman, a younger woman and Chris were standing, talking to each other. Me, being my shy self in a group of unknown people, kept quiet.

"Look who I found at the door," Scott announced, everyone turned their attention towards me, Chris included. You could clearly see Chris' expression change into confusion, shock and finally happiness, the two woman looked at me in happiness. Chris walked up to me and embraced me in a hug.

"Fancy meeting you here," I whispered in his ear. Chris laughed before he introduced me to his mother and one of his sisters.

"Tilly, this is my mom Lisa and one of my sisters, Carly, Shanna will be here soon too. Mom, Carly, this is Tilly, my girlfriend," Chris spoke to his family, when he said the last part he looked at me and smiled. Lisa and Carly introduced themselves to me as I shook their hands and introduced myself too, all this time Chris' eyes never left me.

"Something wrong?" I asked him quietly, he shook his head, still smiling.

"Just glad you're here," he told me as he kissed my cheek and took my hand in his. Chris walked away from his family as he gave me a tour of the house. The kids were playing in the living room as he told them who I was.

"Hey, guys, this is Tilly, she is my girlfriend and she will be staying the weekend," Chris told the kids, they all looked shyly over at me and made no intention of coming over, I smiled at them.

"No need to be afraid, what are you playing with?" I asked them, they looked down to the Lego's in their hands and the middle one showed me his Lego's.

"Are you playing with the Lego's? I always used to build amazing cars with them, do you want me to show you?" I asked the middle one, he nodded his head after he looked over at Chris for his permission.

"That's Miles by the way," Chris told me as I sat down with the kids. I started building them a red car as they looked at me closely. I gave my new-made car to Miles who immediately showed Chris and started 'driving' (pushing the car forward while he ran after it). The oldest one looked at me while he gave me some blue Lego's.

"You want a car too? Or do you want me to build something else?" I asked him, he blushed a bit and then looked at Chris, who was now sitting on the couch while I sat on the ground with the kids.

"You can ask her, she won't bite," Chris told the kid.

"Can you build me a car too? But a bigger one than Miles has," the little kid asked me, I smiled as I nodded and started building another car. Soon enough the family had gathered together in the living room as they saw me playing with the kids. All the young men had shown their cars to their family as the girl now had a newly built house. They were all playing with their new toys as I stood up again. Chris smiled at me as he stood up as well.

"You are amazing with the kids," he told me before he took my hand again.
