If the accident is reversed... she will remember everything... things that happened before the accident... things that happened after the accident... but if someone told her a false name, she will know and will possibly mix it around ... she will know everything... her memories as a little girl... memories of her sister... if she ever gets married she will remember that... she will remember.... she will...

My body jolts awake at the feeling of a sting on my leg. I blink my eyes open slowly, adjusting to the dim light. Everything is blurry. I go to move my arm and feel that I can't. I look down and blink my eyes trying to get my vision to clear. My vision clears and I see that I am strapped to a chair. Both my hands and legs and strapped down. Then I hear whispering and I look up.
"She's awake..."
"Shh"
"Don't startle her..."
"The accidents been reversed..."
"How can you tell?"
"Just look at her..."
"Shh"
I look around at everyone feeling confused. Why are they here... who even are they? Where are my parents... Gracie!
"Gracie," I say quietly and they all stare at me. In the same predicament as me, strapped to a chair.
"Is dead," I hear a voice say behind me and I tense. Then he comes into view. I know him... I know him...
"Kaal," I whisper out remembering him.
"You killed my sister!" I yell in his face feeling tears prick my eyes.
"Yes I did," he sniggers walking to the middle of the room where a curtain encircles some object.
"Where am I?" I shout fearfully.
"Shall I refresh your memory," he asks smiling evilly at me. I stay silent and he snaps his fingers. I feel something cold and flat make contact with my shoulder and it sends a buzz through my body jolting me forward and my eyes close. Then memories of my entire life flash through my head.

I open my eyes and look around the room noticing the faces. Remembering it all. Wait... where is he... where is he?!
"Where is he!" I shout pulling at the chair suddenly filling with fear.
"Who? Aman or Rahul?" Kaal smirks holding a chain in his hands getting ready to pull. The question stumps me but I have to say the right name. But which name...
"Rahul," I say strongly and Kaal smiles.
"Good answer," Kaal says pulling the chain and the curtain falls to the ground. There he is. Unconscious, shirtless and his arms chained.
"Aman!" I shout mixing his name up.
"Oh but I thought it was Rahul," Kaal smirks. Rahul is Aman and Aman is Rahul... this doesn't make sense.
"I don't understand," I say silently and Kaal laughs.
"Let me make something clear," Kaal says grabbing what looks like a taser from a tray. He walks over to Aman and turns on the taser, he brings it to Aman's side and he jolts up yelling out in pain.
"Aman!" Aisha shouts pulling against the chair. His eyes open as he starts coughing and he drops his head. He starts to pull against the chains slightly and I hear soft sobs coming from him. I feel my heart shattering as I he continues pulling the chains.
"This is Rahul Mehra, your best friend naa?" Kaal says walking over to a dark part of the cellar we are in. He comes back with a whip and a menacing look on his face.
"You had an accident, and Rahul changed his name to Aman Mathur," Kaal says circling Aman like he is his prey.
"You married Aman, made new friends, had a honeymoon, got pregnant... but the real question is... do you know who was really the cause of your accident?" Kaal asks before lifting the whip in the air and bringing it down on Aman's back making him shout in pain.
"Aman!" Tina, Melissa, Aisha, Courtney and I yell out in unison. He looks back down at the ground and Kaal walks around to the front of him.
"Why don't you tell her who was responsible," Kaal says punching the side of Aman's face. Aman lifts his head showing blood streaming down his face and I feel tears building in my eyes.
"I was the one who wasn't ready," Aman starts to say as Kaal walks around to the back of Aman.
"I had no idea that Kaal was listening,"

K-tch again Kaal brought the whip down on Aman's back. And I wince at Aman's pain.

"I told Meera your exact location while Kaal was listening," he says pulling against the chains.

K-tch and again

"I was just starting my training," he says with his voice shaking, and making me wince from the look of pain written on his face.

K-tch again

"I wasn't strong enough to kill Kaal myself," he grits his teeth and closes his eyes tightly

K-tch again

"He found you, slammed your head into a wall, killed your sister and... I lost you," he says looking at me with sorrow in his eyes.

K-tch again...

"I wanted to save you... I wanted to tell you Priya... I'm so sorry," Aman says letting tears leave his eyes and his head slightly fall. I feel tears running down my face as well and mouth 'I love you' to him.
"Oh enough with this bullshit!" Kaal says bringing the whip down multiple times making Aman yell in pain.
"Stop!" I shout with the sound ringing through my ears and the sight making me close my eyes shut tightly.
"Please stop!" I plead keeping my eyes glued shut.
"Stop Kaal!" Aisha shouts and the sound of Aman's pain stops. I open my eyes to see Kaal striding over to Aisha. He places his hand around her throat and drops the whip, pulling a gun from his pocket.
"Another word from you," he says pointing the gun to her head.
"And you're dead," he says getting closer to her.
"Kaal," a woman's voice says from behind me.
"What?!" He shouts sounding like a growl.
"Her parents are conscious," she says and he looks over at me.
"Time to have some fun," he says in an evil tone and I start pulling against my restraints.
"Don't hurt them!" I shout fearfully.
"Oh darling, don't worry, I won't," he says laughing and walking towards a big steel door.
"Don't have too much fun while I'm gone," he sniggers and I feel anger boiling inside me. I knew I hated him, yet I was scared of him too. I look over at Aman and he still hangs there for all of us to see. His head down, as if he is shamed.
"Aman?"
"Please tell us you're okay,"
"We're going to get you free Aman,"
"Stay strong okay," everyone tries to say to give Aman hope, but he keeps his head down not looking at anyone.
"Aman," I say quietly and I feel all eyes land on me.
"Aman please look at me," I say fighting the urge to call him Rahul.
"Please," I say with my voice cracking as tears leave my eyes. He slowly lifts his head up and turns his body to look at me. He too has tears falling from his eyes. He looks at me sadly and I know that he is upset... with himself... he must think I'm angry at him.
"Aman you did what you had to do... I'll never stop loving you, I'm your wife... and we have a baby on the way... you promised me that in the end you will come back to me... my life after the accident has been one hell of a ride, but I'm happy it was... because I married the best man possible for me, and now I'm carrying his baby... I love you Aman, I promise you that will never change," I say staring at him with a heavy heart. He drops his head again this time I can hear him sobbing softly. He takes a minute and then looks at me moving to stand up straight.
"I'm so sorry Priya, my job was to protect you and I've failed you," he says looking around at everyone.
"It was all our jobs," he says stopping his gaze on Aisha.
"And we failed you," he says looking over to me.
"You haven't, not yet... we can still get out of this, I have faith in you Aman... if you can survive being shot almost three times for me you can survive on getting us out of here," I says trying to get some sense into his head. As he's about to speak we hear a chuckle from the room, it bounces of the concrete walls and into my ears making me shudder.
"He's not capable of anything," a raspy voice says and Aman's face changes.
"Who are you?" Aman says pulling against the chains.
"Oh I thought you would've remembered my voice," the person says now near Anjali and Kabir who sit a seat over from me.
"Show yourself," Aman demands looking like he is about to kill. I hear his shoes as he steps down the two stairs and comes into the dim lighting. He smiles at Aman and then looks at everyone.
"Hello brother, miss me?"
