'We've got one more thing to do before I leave', I said turning to Gemma.
Opening the door without making a sound was the hardest thing, we were both more worried about Gemma's mum hearing us, than the boys. However, we could have brought a marching band into the bathroom and the boys wouldn't have heard us, through the noise of the shower. They were busy arguing as to which one was responsible for getting them dirty outside. From what I could gather, they were play fighting, starting with Peter using the garden hose on his brother, Richard got his revenge by throwing Peter to the ground first, Peter got up and jumped onto Richard and the two of them were spotted by Mrs Fredericks rolling around in the soaked mud of her flower beds.
We shut the door behind us and although the steam from their hot shower, hindered their vision of us, it also hindered our vision of them and we needed clear sight of them, to ensure we achieved what we had intended on doing.
The shower was a large closed in cubicle, we crouched down to avoid detection.
'You open the door and I'll do the rest', I whispered to Gemma.Gemma nodded.
I got into position. Gemma swung the door open. The boys looked around in shock. I took the picture. And the shouting started.
'What are you doing?'
'Get out of here'
'Piss off'
Richard grabbed the door and pulled it closed. The shower went off. The boys grabbed for their towels, quickly wrapping them round themselves.
'You're dead, both of you'
'We're going to kill you'
This was the scariest part of my plan. Both myself and Gemma stood in front of the bathroom door, leaning on it, attempting to look as calm as possible, although I was shaking like a leaf.
The two boys stepped out, seeing us standing there they froze, glancing around the room, to see if we had a trap ready for them.
'You're gonna wish you never set foot in here', Peter growled, his anger making him look taller than I remembered.
I braced myself, to speak firmly and confidently.
'Don't even think of it', I started, my voice stronger than I expected, 'if you so much as think about touching us, getting your revenge on us, or setting foot in Gemma's bedroom without permission, those photos I took of you two together in the shower', I stressed those three words, leaving the implication open, 'will be all over the internet'
'You're lying', Richard said but there was little conviction in his voice. 'What's to stop us taking your phone from you now, before you get the chance to upload them'
'Boys please, do you think I'm that dumb', I was enjoying myself now, I could see from the expressions on their faces that I had them by their balls. 'This is a smart phone', I held my phone up so they could see,'as soon as I took the photos, they were loaded up to my storage on the Internet. You touch my phone and I'll release those throughout the Internet for all your friends to see.
'How do we know you won't do it anyway?', Peter asked.
'You're not the brightest spark, are you? I won't because it's our leverage, so as long as you two are good little boys, they'll be no need for me to do so'
There was a brief moment of thought.
'Shit, okay you slag, you win, now get out so we can get changed'.
Gemma turned to leave, I held her hand to stop her. 'I'm sorry, what did you say to us?'
The boys looked at us, their anger suppressed. It took them a few seconds to comprehend what I was alluding to.
'Can you please leave, so we can get dressed', he said, stressing the word "please"
'And what did you refer to me as?'
Peter thought for a second before apologizing for his derogatory term.
'Sure', I said, releasing Gemma's hand and turning to the door.
'You're mine from now on', Gemma said to them as she left the room, me right behind her.
