I shut the door behind us and we fell into each others arms in relief. I was giggling uncontrollably, Gemma was taking deep breaths, as though she had held hers the whole time we were in the bathroom.
'I better go', I eventually said.
Gemma walked me to the door, the sun had dropped slightly, but it was still warm.
'Thanks, Catherine'
'No problem', I said and instinctively stepped towards her and planted a kiss on her lips, it lasted longer than the previous one and brought a smile to Gemma's face. 'I'll see you tomorrow'
Gemma just smiled, still taken aback by the kiss.
