Betty's POV
"Haley, oh my god what are you doing here? I asked as I went to hug her
"Just staying for winter break so like only 2 weeks, but mum wanted to see that family."
"That's amazing! Well sit down and we'll catch up. I've just gotta get dressed. Arch can i speak to you for a minute." I said as I started walking upstairs and he followed
"You okay?" Archie asked as held my arms in his hands
"Yeah I'm fine. I just needed to ask you something." I struggled to say as I was putting my jeans on
"Should we tell her about us or keep it a secret?"
"I would never want to keep this a secret, I want the whole world to know that I'm dating Betty Cooper!" Archie began to yell
I placed my hand over his mouth to mute him "okay okay shut up you big dork." I said with small laugh
"Come here" archie said as he snaked his arms around my waist and pull me closer to him whilst leaning into give me a longing kiss on the lips. I so badly wanted to deepen the kiss as I grabbed a handful of his shirt but Haley would get suspicious.
"Come on, Haley's waiting for us down stairs." I said as I grabbed his hand walked out of the room.

As we reached the bottom of the stairs and re entered the lounge, Hayley looked up at us with a huge smile on her face.
"Did you two lovebirds get a little distracted upstairs" she said with a cheeky grin I couldn't help but blush and bury my face in Archie's shoulder whilst smiling
"You guys are cute together! I knew you'd be get together as some point. Congratulations! Hayley said with a huge smile. Me and archie both choose something to sit on as we headed in the lounge and we all slowly began to catch up.
After about an hour of talking and laughing and reminiscing the front door slowly burst open.
"Betty Cooper you better be in here!" I immediately knew it was Veronica before she came into view.

Veronica's POV
As I charged through the front door, I noticed Betty and Archie but there was some other light brown headed girl that i had never seen before.
"Hey V"
"Hey Ronnie" both Betty and Archie said as I made my way towards the entrance to the lounge.
"Sorry, I hope I'm not intruding. Hi I'm Veronica Lodge." I said as I went to shake Haleys hand
"Hi, I'm Haley Gatcum." She said with a pleasant smile.
"Well I'm sorry but if you don't mind i need to borrow Betty for a moment." I said with a firm smile
"Um sure yeah. I'll be right back." Betty said as she squeezed Archie's hand and followed me upstairs. As we entered Archie's room i quietly shut the door behind us and picked up something to throw at Betty.
"Ow! What was that for?" Betty asked whilst rubbing her upper arm
"I was expecting a phone call yesterday! I sat at home all day waiting and waiting and I got nothing! So I though of that's fine she must be busy, so I waited till today and still nothing!"
"V it's only 11 in the morning." Betty said as she laughed a little, after rehearing what I just said I could help but laugh too.
"Sooo, tell me everything that's happened?" I said excitedly as I grabbed Betty's hands and pulled her to sit on the bed next to me
"Well basically after you dropped me off, I confronted arch and asked him why he did what he did and that's when he told me he loved me. Then it was very intimate for the remainder of that night and yesterday reggie called and asked to apologise so he came to mine for about 5 minutes and then I came over we had dinner, had a heart to heart and that got very heated and lead to an intense make out session. Then this morning Vegas took my jeans so archie ran out and got them and ran into Haley and invited her back we've being catching up and that's when you came in." Betty said slowly running out of breath. I couldn't help but smile in awe
"FINALLY! You two are together! Do you know how long I've being waiting for this?!" I said whilst holding my cheeks in my hands. Betty laughed lightly and bit her lip.
"So what's the deal with this Haley chick?" I asked quizzically.
"She's an old friend of mine and Archie's. We grew up with her, we were best friends and she was Archie's first actual girlfriend."
"Woah woah woah, hold up! This chick is Archie's ex?" I asked completely shocked. Betty just posed at me with a confused look on her face.
"I don't like this Betty. I know I don't know her and I only just met her but it's seems a little odd." I said as I shook my head. Betty just laughed
"Look V, yes it's a little odd, but I trust Archie and I love him and he loves me. I'm not asking you to be her friend just be civil."
"Fine, just for you but I'm keeping my radar on at all times." I said with a chuckle.
We made our way downstairs to find another figure in the lounge room. Judging by the beanie and suspenders it was obvious who'd arrived.
"Jughead, what are you doing here?" I asked as me and Betty made our way into the lounge room.
"Archie called me, told me Haley was in town so I figured I should stop by." Jughead said while giving Haley a loving look.
I looked across the room to see Betty had taken a seat next to Archie and had one of her hands resting on his thigh just above his knee. I could tell she was a little suspicious of Haley. I just hope nothing comes between them.
"Hey I'm getting hungry, who wants to go to Pops?" I asked as I stood up.
"Sure"
"Yeah"
"Sounds great"
We all headed out the door and onto the streets of Riverdale and headed to Pops.

2 Hours Later
Archie's POV
We'd spent the last two hours laughing, talking and just bickering with one another. I couldn't get off this high of how good life was at the moment. I looked at my phone to see two missed calls from my dad. This feeling of panic overwhelmed me as I shuffled in the booth.
"I'll be back in a minute guys." I said as I slid out of the booth and walked out of Pops and called my dad.
The phone rang and rang, the suspense was killing me
"Archie."
"Dad, thank god is everything okay?" I asked with concern
"Calm down everything's fine. Just wanted to call to tell you that things finished up a few days earlier than expected so I'll be home tonight by 7."
"Oh that's good, alright well I'll get the house cleaned up and see you when you get home."
"Alright, oh Archie could you go by the construction site and pick up my files. Hermione said there was some paper work I had to fill out."
"Yeah I'll do that on my way home from Pops"
"bye arch be careful."
"I will dad, see ya"
I breathed a sigh of relief as I made my way back into Pops, I could feel the concern radiating off Betty's body as she slid out of the booth and stood up as I made my way towards everyone
"Hey, is everything okay?" She asked as she rubbed my arm.
"Yeah, yeah everything's fine, my dad just wanted to tell me that he'd be home tonight. So I actually better get going I've got some cleaning up and washing to do and I have to swing by my dads construction site."
Everyone slowly shuffled out of the booth and we walked towards the exit, until Haley spoke.
"Would anyone mind walking me home, don't remember my way around that well. I'm staying at my aunts over on blanch avenue."
"Um sure yeah, that's on the way to my dads work so I can drop you off on the way." I said with a slight smile.
"Is that okay Betty?" I asked as I faced her holding one of her hands. She gave me a smile and looked at Haley then back to me.
"Yeah that's fine, it's okay." She said with a smile, I knew she was uncomfortable but I loved Betty and I would never hurt her in any way.
"Thanks Betty, I'll come by your house later, okay." I said as I kissed her on the lips and exited to Pops with Haley. I looked back once more to see Betty and I smiled at her just to reassure her.

Betty's POV
As archie and Haley walked out I couldn't help but feel a little hurt. I know archie wasn't doing it deliberately and I said he could so I couldn't be mad at him.
"You still think she's okay." I heard Veronica whisper as she came and stood next to me.
"A little less then earlier. But I'm not going to obsess over it. Archie trust me and I trust him and that's all that matters." I said as we walked out of Pops with a smile, yet I couldn't help but feel weak inside.

DRAMA! Do you reckon Haley is going to steal Archie from Betty or will Veronica be the ultimate guard?
