10-Surprises And Memories

Haleys POV
The walk home with Archie was nice, it brought back so many memories that I could help but smile at. Shame he's with Betty though, I would've really liked to revive our past relationship.
"So, how's your dad?" I asked
"Oh he's pretty good, um in Chicago right now but he'll be back home tonight." Archie said with a smile
"Oh yeah, what's he doing in Chicago?"
"Seeing my mum, there finalising the divorce." I noticed Archie's smile had faltered
"I'm so sorry Arch."
"It's okay, Betty really opened my eyes to the situation." He said as his smile grew three times the size
We walked about another 3 blocks until we came to blanch avenue. We slowly progressed down the street and stoped outside the house.
"Well this is me. I guess I'll see you soon, we should all go to Pops again sometime soon."
"Yeah definetly. Well see ya Hayley." He said with a smile while opening his arms to give me a hug. I took this opportunity to hug him back. I slowly began to walk up the path, then I heard archie say my name again.
"Haley! I'm throwing a surprise party for Betty's birthday next week, she'd love it if you came." Archie said with a cheery tone.
"Yeah sure definetly, put me on the list."
"Alright, I'll text you the details." He said as he walked down the street. This was great, maybe I could somehow come between Betty and archie.

Archie's POV
As I was walking home after picking up my dads files, all I could think about was Betty and her reaction to her surprise party. Her smile, her laugh just everything. As I got to my house, I just stood in between our houses in the middle of the street, I looked up to Betty's window and saw her with Veronica laughing and dancing and singing, God this girl was beautiful. It took all my strength not to run over there and climb up to her window like I used to.
I made my way inside the house and began cleaning up, there wasn't really much it was just the necessities like sweeping, emptying the rubbish, picking clothes up off the floor and vacuuming.
It'd being about two hours since I got home and I just checked the clock to see that it was 6:45, so only 15 minutes till dad got home. Too pass the time I decided to text Betty and give Veronica and Kevin a call about Betty's surprise party.
A: Hey loser, what will you be doing in an hour?
B: Your such a charming boyfriend.....:P um
     Nothing I don't think...why? Aha
A: Is it alright if I come over??
B: yeah always, you know that!
A: ahaha just checking, well I'll see you in an hour gorgeous x
B: looking forward to it xx
My smile always grew 1000 times bigger whenever I was speaking to Betty and my heart expanding 1000 sizes. I went into my contacts and scrolled down to Veronica's name.
V: Andrews how can I help you?
A: I just wanted to double check the plans for Betty's surprise party, I know we planned this before we where dating but I don't see why we can't do it still just because me and Betty are dating that's actually more of a reason to do it.
V: alright slow down and yes we are still going ahead as planned.
A: alright good, well I need to call Kevin and tell him I invited Haley so he can put her down on the list
V: no need he's with me...wait you did what? You invited Haley?
A: yeah well i figured since she and Betty have being friends for along time and she's in town so I might as well and plus Betty would love it if she came.
V: fair enough Andrews. Anyway I have to go me and Kevin are going out clubbing.
A: alright see you Ronnie, tell Kevin I said hi
The front door opened as soon as I put the phone down. I saw my dad slowly make his way into the kitchen after dropping off his bags by the stairs.
"Hey dad" I said as I hugged him
"Hey Arch"
"So how was Chicago? How's mum?" I asked with intrugue as I pulled away from the hug
"Your mum is fine, she's happy and Chicago was the same as it was last time."
"So it's done then? All finalised and printed in paper?" I asked with a ball in throat
"Yeah it is. I'm sorry Arch but it's better for everyone." dad said as he placed a hand on my shoulder giving it a light squeeze
"Don't worry it's fine. Betty helped me see the good that can come out this." I said while my cheeks started going red just at the thought of Betty
"Which reminds me. Me and Betty are dating." I said with the happiest tone you could hear while smiling like an idiot at me dad
"That's so great son, I knew you both would make it eventually." He said as he pat my back
We spent the next 40 minutes catching up and talking about the past 5 days, I looked up at the clock to see it was 7:40.
"Alright well I'm heading off to Betty's, don't know if I'll come home tonight but don't worry if I don't." I said as I stood up and made my way towards the front door. I jogged down the pathway, across the street and too Betty's front door. I rang the door bell and stood there until Mr.Cooper opened the door.
"Oh hi Mr.Cooper, I'm just here to see Betty."
"Come on in Archie." He said as he stood to the side making room for me to walk in past him.
"I think Betty Is still in the shower, but you can just wait in her room."
"Alright thanks sir." I said as I started to proceed up the stairs
"Oh Archie me and Alice are going out tonight and we won't be home tonight. So make sure she stays safe. We'll be home around 10 tomorrow morning"
"I'll protect her with everything I am Mr.Cooper." I said with a reassuring nod.
I leaped up the stairs constantly skipping a step as I always did. I knew this house like the back of mans so finding Betty's room wasn't a problem. I slowly turned left as i got up the stairs and headed towards Betty's room. I opened the door and heard the shower coming from ensuite. I decided it'd be fun to scare Betty, but I was limited for time as soon as the shower turned off. I quickly slid underneath the bed making sure that nothing of mine was in view. I heard the door to the bathroom open and I could see Betty's feet stepping along the ground as she walked over to her dresser. I slowly slid out of the other side and stood up trying so hard not to make any noise, I walked over to the bathroom door and leant against the door frame, just watching her and admiring her perfect body and skin.
"Hey stranger." I said as she finished picking clothes out of her drawers. She screamed and jumped as she turned around holding a tight grasp onto her towel.
"Archie! What the hell are you doing?!" She exclaimed as she had the most shocked look on her face
"Well it's 7:45."
"I know that but you could've waited downstairs."
"And miss the chance to scare you. Betty come on you know me."
"Yes sadly I do, but I really need to get dressed so get out." She said as she walked towards me with a light giggle.
"Come on Betty I'm your boyfriend it's nothing."
"Fine, but turn around at least."
"Okay, okay." I said with a giggle and putting my hands up in surrender as I slowly turned around facing the bathroom. I could hear all the commotion of towels dropping and clothes being put on, it took everything part of me not to turn around and kiss her. I slowly reached up and started tapping the top of the doorframe to a beat of one my songs. I slowly felt these two arms wrap around waist and connect at the front as this body pressed against me so lightly, sending butterflies throughout my stomach.

Betty's POV
I traced Archie's abs with my fingers whilst pressing light kisses against kiss back. I didn't want to tell him but I'd being feeling so on edge about Haley. I knew I didn't have anything to worry about but I could help it. Archie must of noticed, because he slowly turned around to face and slowly put his hands on my cheeks. The feeling of his touch relaxed my body but sent butterflies loose throughout My body.
"You okay?" He asked as he stroked my cheek lightly
I took a deep breath and leant into his touch. "Yeah I'm fine, it's just something veronica said earlier." I said as I moved back a little, whilst rubbing my forehead with one hand.
"Don't worry about it, it's not important." I said as I slowly began to walk towards my vanity desk.
Archie reached out and grabbed my hand lightly, stopping me.
"Hey hey hey, no It is important. It breaks me to see you this way. You can tell me." He said as he pulled me to face him whilst running circles on the back of my hand and giving me the most cutest puppy dog eyes that made me so weak.
"It's Haley. She said that she's a bit suspicious of her arrival and her constant wanting to be around you. And it's made me feel insecure and it's not that I don't trust cause I do with all my love and I know you wouldn't help me but because she's your ex, it makes me uneasy." I said trying to fight back tears. Archie looked at me so much sadness in his eyes, he engulfed me in a tight loving hug and his arms wrapped around my waist so tight indicating that he didn't want to let me go. He slowly leaned back and leant his forehead against mine.
"I love you Betty Cooper and nothing or no one could ever make me stop loving you. Nothing is happening or ever will happen between me and Haley, I promise you that. The thought of hurting you destroys me inside because I know that no matter what I will never stop loving you. I'll love you till the day I die." I could his voice getting all chocked up and his words became more shaky. I was head over heals in love with this boy and I knew that I would love him for the rest of my life.
"I love you too Archie Andrews" I said before leaning up to kiss him. The kiss slowly got deeper as I ran my hands up Archie's torso and into his arm taking handfuls in my hands. I felt his hands run up my body and rest just on ribcage below my breast. I ran my hands back down his body and started pulling his Henley shirt up over his body, revealing the muscled toned body that I was so happy to call mine. I began planting kisses all over his chest whilst running my hands all over him. I kissed my way back up to his lips and our lips Moulded together once again, Archie's hand slowly traced down my body making there way to underneath my thighs. He quickly picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist whilst takin fistfuls of his hair in my hands. Archie has quickly walked over to the wall pinning me against it, whilst intwining our hands together and holding them above my head. There was little space between me and archie our body's where so close to each other that I could feel his heartbeat against my chest. Archie slowly began kissing down my neck and onto my sweet spot just above my collar bone, moans couldn't help but escape my mouth as he kissed my sweet spot. Our lips crashed together once again and archie had slowly lowered me back on my bed whilst his hands roamed my entire body. He slowly began to unbutton my jeans and he pulled them off in a flash. My legs slowly wrapped themselves around Archie's waist once more as the kiss slowly became deeper. I began to pull archie closer by his belt and I began to take his belt off and pull his jeans down, Archie assisted as he stood up briefly to let the fall to the floor. I pulled him back down and craved his body more then I ever have. Archie quickly pulled away with a concerned look on his face.
"Wait wait wait. Betty are you sure you wanna do this now, you did say you wanted to takes things slow." Archie asked with concern. I slowly leant up and stroked his cheek whilst giving him a passionate peck on the lips.
"I'm sure." I said whilst pulling Archie back down and our lips moulded together once more and our hands explored every part of each other. I never thought about what my first time was going to be like, I'm just so thankful ifs with Archie. I am never going to forget this night ever.
