Bettys POV
We finally made it too school, not separating even as we walked through the main entrance. Nerves ran through my body, remembering that we where now officially a couple at school publicly for the first time but all that got washed away every time I looked into Archies eyes. We quickly separated our bodies as we stopped in front of my locker with Archie leaning up against the one next to it as I slid my bag in and grabbed books from the top shelf. The sound of the bell echoed throughout the halls catching both our attentions. "What do you have this morning?" I questioned as I gently closed my locker door before leaning on it so I was facing Archie. "Chemistry with Mr.Woodlock, think I have a quiz. What about you?" Archie asked as he rubbed the back of his neck while pulling on his bag strap. "You'll be fine and I have AP english with Mrs.Myers so I'll see you at lunch?" I questioned with a small smile as I took a step closer to him while I placed my hand on his bicep, still able to feel the strong muscle through his hoodie. "Can't wait." Archie said in a warm kind tone before I slowly leaned up and pecked his cheek before walking past him towards class only to constantly be looking back at him smiling, to see him doing the same.
The first two classes of the day went by so slowly. It didn't help that they were each two hours long. All I wanted was to see Archie and be with all my friends but at this rate that seems unlikely. The minute the bell rang for lunch I sped out the classroom door before being stopped by the feeling of a tight grip on my arm pulling me to the side. "Why didn't you call me all weekend?" I heard the mysterious person say yet the minute those words left their mouth I knew it was Veronica. I quickly looked up at her with a confused look on my face. "I'm sorry I just got sidetracked and I didn't even know I was suppose to." I explained as we both turned heading in the direction of our lockers. "Well you where, I wanted to hear all the details from Ethel's party. You and Archie just disappeared after the pool fight and don't lie to me Betty Cooper." Veronica stated as she pointed a finger in my direction while a small smirk was plastered on her lips. I knew I had to tell V, though I already know what her reaction is going to be but she is my best friend.
"Wait! You did what?" Veronica exclaimed as we both sat at our usual table within the school grounds eating our lunch. None of the boys had come over yet, so if there was any time to tell V about what happened it was now. "Look I already told you twice, I'm not saying it again." I said in between laughs as I took a sip of my ice tea before placing it back on the table. "So let me get this straight. You and Archie went from making out in Ethel's spare bedroom to a passionate, lustful kiss on the steps to shower sex? All in the space of one weekend. My, my you two certainly don't waste time." Veronica said as she began picking at her fruit salad while a shocked look remained plastered on her face. A small smile and blush couldn't help but crawl its way onto my lips and cheek at the thought of these memories. "We've just being a part for so long that we have so much time to make up for. Plus we constantly have our hands on each other. Our sexual tension right now is at an all time high, that it's hard enough seeing him in the school grounds and not jumping him." I explained as I pulled the lid off the top of my salad while keeping my eyes on Veronica. "Well that's understandable. Just please don't make out in front of me, I love you both but thats not a sight I want to see. But as long as you both are happy, so am I." Veronica explained after swallowing several pieces of fruit, causing both of us to start laughing slightly before I got startled by the sound of Archies voice in my ear, catching me off guard. "Hey gorgeous." He said as he slung his arm over my shoulder while planting a soft kiss on my cheek before sliding onto the bench placing himself next to me while Jughead slid into the spot next to Veronica. "Hey." I said in a loving tone as I turned to face him before leaning in and pressing a longing kiss on his lips. I could feel us both smiling against the kiss as it slowly got deeper, much to Veronicas dismay. "Okay what did I literally say three minutes ago." Veronica exclaimed as she gestured her hands in our direction while Jughead sat there snickering to himself. We both slowly pulled away with small laughs escaping our lips while looking towards Veronica who sat there glaring at us with a smile on her face. "God you guys are so in love it makes me sick." Veronica stated as she flickered her gaze between me and Archie, causing the two of us to turn to look at each other with wide smiles, before returning to our previous positions with our bodies close together and my back lightly pressed up against the left side of Archies torso, while his arm extended behind me resting to my left with his hand placed on the bench next to my thigh.
