Betty's POV
After Archie had left, I couldn't help but miss him, we'd just spent practically the past 48 hours in each other's company and suddenly being without him just made me want him more. I knew that I had to call Veronica and tell her everything that had happened, it was so exciting and amazing and I had to share it with her.
I watched Archie cross the road and approach his only to see him suddenly slow down look to the right, I followed his gaze to see Haley walking towards him, even though I knew I had nothing to worry about I couldn't help but feel jealous and confused, I could tell by Archie's facial expression that he was just as confused as I was.
They where talking about something, I didn't know what it was but I knew I didn't like it when Haley slowly approached Archie and placed her hands Archie's chest and arms, I could feel the blood boiling in my veins and even though it infuriated me to watch I had to.
My body relaxed when archie stepped away from Haley and started walking towards his front door, a laugh couldn't help but escape my lips. I turned to watch Haley as she waved at him flirtatiously and walked away, I really had to call Veronica now.
The phone rang for about 10 seconds before Veronica picked up.
"B! What's up?"
"Hey V! Oh nothing I just have some stuff to tell you."
"Oooohh I'm excited! You know what I need to hear this in person."
"Meet me at Pops in 20 minutes?"
"Sure thing V."
After the brief chat I hung up the phone and headed towards the bathroom to clean up. After about 5 minutes in the shower, i jumped out and picked out my outfit. I decided to go with Black skinny jeans, a pink sweater and some simple converse.
I was occupied applying my mascara when my phone buzzed. I walked over to my bed to see who it was to see it was Archie.
A-Hey goofball
B-Miss me already?? 😉
A-You wish....😏
B-Only in your dreams Arch
A-ahaha, but seriously. What colour dress are you wearing to dinner on your birthday?
B-that's something I never expected to come out of your mouth. Why you asking?
A-Because I have to make sure my tie works with it and make sure I have the right colour. Otherwise I have to go into town and buy one
B-look whose being doing there research
A-shut up 😝
B-I was thinking maybe a pink dress, so I think a blue tie for you.
A-Luckily I have one, ahaha.
B-Yes Arch, you saved yourself 20 bucks
A-hey that's 20 more bucks I could spend on more important things.
B-Your ridiculous! But I love you anyway! Well I have to go, meeting Veronica at Pops.
A-Alright, have fun gorgeous. Love you x
B-Love you too x

15 MINUTES LATER
I was sitting in the booth at pops with a strawberry milkshake waiting for Veronica to arrive, when all of a sudden the bell to that door rang and in walked just the person I was looking for. Veronica walked over to the booth at a quick pace with a huge smile on her face.
"No time to say hi, I want gossip!" Veronica said as she sat down in the booth. I laughed lightly to myself before beginning to explain.
"Well...,um....Archie and I had sex." I said whilst biting my lip just thinking about that night.
"OH MY GOD! B THATS INCREDIBLE! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" Veronica said as she smiled at me widely and grabbed my hands from across the table.
"Now tell me was he good?" Veronica asked with intrigue making me confused, as I thought they would've done it when dating.
"Didn't you and Archie..you know. When you guys dated?"
"What, no no. We couldn't. It just never felt right. But I'm so glad you where each others first times." Veronica said as started to jump around in her seat excited. I couldn't help but feel relieved that Archie and Veronica never did it, it made mine and Archie's more special.
"Well, he was good. So passionate and loving. It was amazing!" I said as I struggled to hold it together just thinking about him made me crave him.
"Okay B, too much. Your facial expressions are giving away more than I need to know." Veronica said as she looked a little disgusted.
"Oh by the way guess who I saw talking to archie today and outing there hands all over him."
"Who?" Veronica said as she raised an eyebrow
"Haley! It was this morning after Archie had left and he was walking home and she was on our street and she started talking to him and feeling his chest and stuff! Like who does that to someone else's boyfriend?!" I said as I started to get frustrated
"What?! That little minx! Have you spoken to Archie?"
"No, I wanted to speak to you first and see what you said." I said as I took a sip of my milkshake.
"Well I think we need to pay Haley a visit."
And with that, me and Veronica hurried out of Pops and into the streets of Riverdale.

10 MINUTES LATER
Veronica's POV
"This is it, I think" Betty said as we stopped outside a brick house with snow piling in various places.
"You know B, even if she says she doesn't want Archie she does. She just going to try make it out like everything's fine. Just be ready for that." I said as I turned to look at Betty. She nodded at me in reply and we made our way up to the front door and knocked 3 times. The door swung open to reveal Haley with a surprised look on her face.
"Betty, Veronica! What are you guys doing here? Do you wanna come in?" Haley asked with a surprised tone.
"We won't be staying long. We're just here to ask your a few questions?" I said as I crossed my arms.
"Be honest Haley. Are you trying to win Archie back or something?" Betty said with a stern voice. I could here her voice choking up and I knew how hard this was for her.
Haley scoffed and laughed to herself and smirked at Betty.
"Honestly Betty, whether I am or not, Archie would come to me anyway. He'd finally realise what he's being missing and he'll leave you for me." Haley said with a sly facial expression.
Betty's facial expression grew angry and she went to leap forward but I grabbed her arm and held her back.
"You won't steal Archie from me! I won't let you." Betty said through gritted teeth.
"I guess we'll see about that." Haley said trying to wind Betty up
"Leave her Betty she's not worth it." I said as I grabbed Betty's arm and walked down the path to the street. 
After about five minutes of walking In silence, I decided to speak up.
"You okay B?"
Betty sighed and took a deep breath. "I'm as okay as One can be, after finding out someone's trying to steal your boyfriend."
"Don't worry about her B! I know Archie and how feels about you and he has never felt about anyone the he does about you. He loves you, more than words could ever say."
"You're going to have to talk to him about you know." I said as i took a deep breath.
"I know. Not today though, I'll tell him tomorrow."
"But B, tomorrow's your birthday. Are you sure you want to tell him then." I said as I looked at her quizzically.
"Yeah I'm sure, It's Archie. We always have our best and most amazing and loving conversations in the weirdest times. Plus I need to go home and think about everything." Betty said as we slowly approached her street.
"We'll be careful B! I'll call you tonight to see how you are." I said as went to hug her.
"Thank you V, your a great friend." Betty said as she slowly embraced me in a hug.
Betty's POV
After saying goodbye to Veronica, I started to walk down my street. I found myself in between mine and Archie's house on the road. I looked over to Archie's house to see him in his window playing guitar. My body melted and happiness took over my body only to be wiped away 5 seconds later with the reminder that at any point Haley could take archie away from me.
I couldn't let her.
