Bettys POV

"Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews making out under the bleachers is something I never thought I would witness." Veronica stated as she stood there looking at us with a smirk while her hands linked in front of her. I could feel a faint blush creeping onto my cheeks the longer she looked at us and I knew Archie was feeling the same way. Neither of us said a word in response to Veronica, I just felt Archies slowly place me on the ground before snaking an arm around my waist pulling me closer to his side as a smile grew on his lips. "Anyway, The blossom queen was wondering where you were B and I figured it would be better for me to come find you over her and well it was so you can thank me later. Now come on I'd rather not have Cheryl scream today." Veronica stated with a laugh as she turned on her heal and began walking out from under the bleachers. I unattached myself from Archie's firm build, following in her footsteps before feeling Archie pull me back into his chest. "Hey, I'll meet you outside the locker rooms after practice. You can come over before we go to yours." He stated with his gorgeous smile, that just made my day that much better whenever I saw it. "I'll see you then." I replied while planting a soft peck on his lips once more before running out from under the bleachers to catch up to Veronica.

As practice came to an end, we all scurried off to the change rooms to shower and get changed. As I finished getting changed I began heading towards the exit before hearing Veronica scream after me. "B, so we still on for after the game. You, Archie, me and Reggie at pops. Little double date." She said with a smile as she looked my way. "Definitely V, we'll be there. Anyway I'll see you at the game." I responded with smile before I continued walking towards the exit. After walking out the door, I saw Archie leaning up against the locker wall with his back facing me. I slowly and quietly walked over to him before wrapping my arms around his waist and hugging him from behind. His head slowly turned back to face mine and I could see half the smile growing on his face as his eyes connected to mine. "Took your time." Archie said in sarcastic tone as he turned his body to face mine while leaning up against the locker. "Oh shut up, I did not." I responded with a offended tone as I slightly pushed his chest which just caused Archie to laugh as he looked at me. "Come on lets go. The game starts at 7:30 and if I remember correctly your family usually has dinner around 5 or 5:30 and we don't want to be late." Archie said as he linked his hand with mine before turning so that we where both now walking towards the exit of the school. It made me smile knowing how much he remembered from our childhood even it was things like dinner times.

We'd being at Archie's for just under twenty minutes now and he had already started panicking. "Why can't I find my shirt. It was in my closet this morning." He exclaimed as he frantically searched his closet shirtless for a light blue button down shirt. It was amusing watching him be so paranoid. Archie never really got nervous for things, he was generally a straight forward and calm guy, so to see him paranoid was very rare. "Arch, it's just a shirt. You have plenty of over nice shirts and my parents aren't going to care what you wear." I said in between giggles as my eyes followed his every move around the room. His entire body seemed to tense up as these words left my mouth and I could see his back muscles slightly tensing. I slowly stood up from my spot on Archies bed and straightened out my dark green dress that stopped a few centimetres above my knees that I had put on when I went home briefly to let my parents know that Archie was coming for dinner. Slowly I made my way over to him, with the sound of my heeled boots clacking against the floorboards. As I reached him I gently placed my hands on his shoulders before gently sliding them down under his arms to rest on his chest. His body relaxed at my touch and I could feel the stress leaving his body as his back sunk against my chest. "How about you go sit down and I'll go take a look. Okay?" I said as I rested my head on his shoulder before planting a soft kiss on his neck.
