Bettys POV

The remainder of the school day went by in a flash. Knowing that everything was good again with Archie and that I wouldn't have to spend all my time at home tonight, the excitement built up in me making time fly by faster. The minute the final bell rang, I found myself quickly packing up my items before speedily moving through the door in the direction of my locker.

Even though my class was closer to my locker, by the time I got there a slightly flushed and puffed out Archie stood leaning next to it. He delivered me his charming boyish grin as his eyes met mine as I approached him causing a small smile to pull at the corners of my lips.

"Did you run to my locker from class?" I questioned as I leant on my locker next to him, looking up into his innocent big brown puppy dog eyes, already giving me the answer. "You're a dork." I continued with a small laugh, as I turned to my locker, quickly putting in the code before slowly pulling the door open. "You love me anyway." Archie replied with a smirk as his hand caught the top of my locker door, holding it open the entire way before leaning down and pressing a small peck against my cheek. He wasn't wrong, no matter what he did, I wouldn't love him any less. If anything it made me love him even more.

As I finished piling the certain books I needed to take home along with my laptop into my bag, I gently shut the door to my locker before Archie gently slid his hand into mine. "You ready to go?" He questioned as he intertwined our fingers, slightly tugging me in his direction. "Sorry, I have to go to the blue and gold." I explained as Archie slowly walked back over to me with a confused look plastered on his face. "I know I said that I'd go back to yours before we go to Pops but I have this deadline for the paper which Jug is insisting that I finish before tonight and it's going to take me a while so I figured I'd just meet you and your dad at Pops. I'm sorry." A wide grin spread across Archies face as his eyes searched mine before moving one step closer to me. "Hey don't apologize, it's fine. I have some biology to catch up on anyway so I'll just wait with you and then we can go to Pops together." He explained while looking down on me with his signature smile as his hands gently rested on my waist. A smile spread across my lips as I rested my hands on his chest while leaning up slightly placing a soft peck on his lips before sliding my hands from his chest down to his hands, pulling him in the direction of the blue and gold.

We'd being at the Blue and Gold for over an hour now, my paper was three quarters to being finished and after that, all that was left was to proofread and then send it off to Jug. Archie sat across from me, eyes fixed to his biology textbook while scribbling down notes very aggressively what seemed to be every five minutes. "Arch, I can feel the tension radiating off you from here." I said softly as I looked over to him, seeing the frustrated look in his eyes. It was no lie that biology wasn't Archies strongest area of study but he still managed to do well. "It's utter shit. I'm not even going to use this stuff when I'm out of high school." He exclaimed as he slammed his pencil on the textbook before letting out a long sigh while running his fingers through his red locks. "Let me take a look." I responded as I stood from my chair, walking around the table towards hin. "No, no, no. It's fine you don't have to. You have to work on your paper." He continued protesting as his eyes followed my movements around the room towards him. We'd always studied together in the past and he'd always ask for my help for bio but today being the nice guy he was, he didn't want to distract me from my paper so he refrained from asking. "I'll be fine. I'll just fail and retake biology next semester. Why did I ev—." He frustratedly continued before I cut him off. "Hey. Hey. Relax. Take a deep breath." I said softly as my hands came to rest on his forehead, pushing loose strands of his ruffled hair out of his eyes. His head gently leaned back against my chest as he shut his eyes while he let out a deep elongated breath releasing all the tension that built up inside of him. My fingers gently began massaging against his temples as his body relaxed even further before moving my hands down to his shoulders giving them a gentle squeeze. "Now let me take a look." I quietly whispered in his ear before leaning down beside him, examining the selection of questions laid out on the piece of paper in front of him. As my gaze shifted over to his answers that he'd being writing down, I began explaining to him where he went wrong. "You're going along the right track Arch, you're just confusing the cytokinesis with the cytoplasm. The cytoplasms are the contents of a cell that are within the plasma membrane and cytokinesis is the division of cytoplasm." I began explaining before continuing on, only to feel Archies eyes boring into the side of my head instead of where I was pointing in the text book. "Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" I questioned as I turned my gaze to meet his to reveal his soft lustful gaze looking directly at me with a wide smile spread across his lips. "Yeah of course. You were just explaining the difference between the cytoplasm and cytokinesis which I was getting messed up." He responded defensively with a cocky tone as he continued to smile at me. I tilted my head to the left while squinting my eyes which quickly fixed to his as a small smile found it's way to my lips. We stayed this way for a minute or two, smiling at each other with pure admiration before Archie broke the silence. "I have another question though." He stated as he stood up from his chair walking around me so that I was now leant up against the desk with his arms trapping me on both sides. "And what's that?" I questioned as my eyes flickered from his eyes to his lips as I felt my self lightly biting at my lip. "How is it possible for someone to explain the matter of cells so sexily?" He questioned as he began leaning forward slightly closing the distance between us. A small laugh left my lips as my gaze met his with a seductive look. "It comes naturally." I stated before placing my hand on the back of his neck, pulling his head closer to mine closing the remaining distance between us. Our lips quickly moulded together as the force from the kiss caused me to lean further against the desk in between Archies arms, while my hand continued to grip at his neck the other one slid up his chest, grabbing a fist full of his shirt drawing him closer towards me. His tongue grazed at my lips begging for entrance, my lips parted slightly allowing him entrance causing a soft moan to escape my lips. The kiss while it could of intensified even more, it slowed down as our lips reluctantly pulled away from one another, knowing that we had to meet Archies dad soon and showing up completely flustered with swollen lips isn't exactly something either of us would want and besides I still had to finish my paper. I gently placed one last peck on Archies lips as I slid from his hold, returning to my spot on the other side of the desk while he sat back down in front of his text book. We both looked up sharing a look which we both knew we would be continuing that session later.
