Deep behind Wall Sheena lied a city buried deep underground, which used to be part of an immigration plan but was later forgotten. It has been forgotten for so long, that no one has even heard of its existence. A young girl was taking a stroll around this city she knew as her home for as long as she could remember. Even though she grew up here, she still wasn't used to the sight of the faces of the poor souls whose legs have given up.

She had seen that before, her father had died with the same condition when she was 16. Her mother had died earlier when she was only four.

The smell of freshly baked bread caught her by the nose. She looked over at the bakery as the baker began to put out trays of warm, golden brown loaves of bread. Her stomach began to growl at her, How long has it been since I last ate? About a week now?

She thought about it for a while and decided to go for it. She went to look at it simply, like a regular customer who was debating on whether or not they should get a certain item. She looked to see if the baker was watching, but he was dealing with a customer who had bought loads of baked pastries. She grabbed a loaf of bread and ran off, causing the tray to fall to the ground.

"Hey!" The baker yelled, "Get back here you brat!"

The girl clutched the loaf tightly as she felt the warmth and heat under her palms. She felt her hand sting a little, but she didn't mind, all she need right now was a place to hide and this piece of bread stuffed inside of her stomach.

She ran as fast a she could, turning at every corner possible to avoid the baker but with every turn he was right there. She made her final turn to a staircase going towards two houses. She went to the house on her left.

"Open up!" she yelled, banging on the door, "Open up! Open this fcking door up!-"The door immediately opened and she scampered inside. In the midst of her run, she scraped her knee on the floor.

"Sht!" she exclaimed, grasping into the bloody wound.

"Tch," said one man, "It was just a brat," This man seemed short in his height, with black hair and an undercut. He had dark blue eyes which she could have sworn she had seen before, but she didn't remember where.

"I'm not a brat you idiot," she spat back at him as she tried to stand up, her hand holding the loaf of bread and the other covered in blood from her scraped knee.

"Damnit," she heard the baker say outside, "where'd she go?! That btch has stolen one way too many loaves of bread for the past two years! Once we catch her, we can sell her off!"

"A thief, huh?" Said the short man. She gave him a death glare, Thanks Captain Obvious.

"Hey, you two!" The baker yelled, "you see a brat around here?!" The baker climbed up the stairs which led to the house.

"There you are you little btch!" He yelled, "You're coming with us!" The baker walked inside the house and grabbed the girl by her arm.

"Let me go!" She yelled, "I haven't eaten in a while!"

"That's no excuse for you kid so shut up!" The baker slapped her across the face, causing her to fall from his grip. The short ma punched the baker by the jaw and began to kick his stomach until blood came dripping down his nose and mouth. He grabbed the man by the collar.

"Get out," he said coldly, "you didn't have permission to enter this house and you're dragging your filth all over the floor," and with that he pushed the baker down the staircase.

"Come back after you've cleaned your attitudes." Said a tall blond man. The baker gave him a snare and ran off.

"How's your hand?" the blond one asked.

"Wh-what?" the girl questioned.

"Isn't it obvious," said the short man, pulling out a white cloth and wiping his hands as he walked towards a table, "it's burned."

"Huh?" The girl llet go of her loaf of bread and looked at her hands. He was right, there were blisters, swelling, and some torn flesh.

"I never...really..." she whispered.

"Here," the blond one said lending a hand, "let me help you out. Can you stand?"

"I've been through worse, of course I can stand! I'm not weak!" she said brushing his hand off. She placed her burned hand on the floor, pushing herself to stand up. Her balance wasn't steady, so she fell over.

"Careful!" said the blond one, catching her and he led her to the couch, "sit down for a minute. I'll be right back."
