"Ack..!" she grunted as she was thrown to the ground, "you really have to learn to hold back."

"It's not my fault," he said, giving her his hand, "you were never the best fighter. Besides, when we were back in-"

"Yeah, yeah, cut the crap." She tossed away his hand as she stood up and dusted herself, "look, Ansel, I think you have me confused with another person."

"No! No no no! I don't. You're the exact same person. Same (hair color) hair, same (eye color) eyes, and I'd recognize that attitude anywhere! It's just..." He paused for a minute.

"Just what?!"She said impatiently.

"Well, we were-" she glared at him when he mentioned the word 'we' "just hear me out."

"Fine," she crossed her arms.

"We were meant to forget."

"Forget what exactly?"

"The real world," he sighed, "this world we're in now, it isn't real."

"Jeez, and I thought I was insane." She said, walking away.

"But it's the truth! (y/n) please believe me!"

She turned around, "Why should I? Why should a girl like me believe a man who beats up a woman, holds her captive, and is later asked to join their group? Who the fck do you think you are? What are you to me?"

"I'm your friend!"

Her head began to throb as blurry images of him appeared in her mind, "Tch. Why would I become friends with you? I literally just met you when you decided to beat me up."

"No! I mean-I'm..."-he took a deep breath- "I was the first friend you ever made. You told me your mother forced you to participate. You're very pessimistic about certain things. You hate school and you wished that everyone would rot in hell."

With every word he said her head began to hurt more and more. It felt as if someone was tearing at her skull, scalping her hair along with her flesh.

"I remember you told me about this guy you thought was really cool and you wanted you be friends with him, but he never cared much about you and began to hang out with another girl, who bullied you every day."

Please be quiet, she thought to herself as images of school came to her.

You creep!

Psycho!

Die in hell!

"Shut up...shut up..." she whispered to herself repeatedly as she held her head,

"You also told me about your dad. He died of accidental overdose and-"

"SHUT UP!" she yelled, "JUST SHUT UP!"

At that moment, Levi came out of nowhere and kicked Ansel's stomach, causing him to cough up scarlet liquid. Ansel crouched down on the ground in pain as Levi used his knee to hit Ansel's eye.

"Levi!" She yelled grabbing his arm, "knock it off!"

"Hey!' Flagon yelled breaking up the fight, "Head to your rooms, now."

"I told you not to pull any more stunts like that Levi!" Furlan scolded. Isabel sat on one of the upper bunks while (y/n) helped clean off the blood on Levi, handing him a towel.

"I agree with Furlan," (y/n) said, "besides, Ansel did nothing wrong. I could have handled the situation myself-"

"Did you?" He threw her a cold stare.
