I should have made him stay. I should have tried harder. I shouldn't have lost him.
What had I done?
He had probably already moved on. It had been a week and I had heard nothing, not even one text.
I'd basically been living in my home like a hermit crab for the past 7 days: no leaving the house, no speaking to people, no being productive. Just a lot of sitting around, watching TV and eating way too much unhealthy food. You've got to love breakups.
But had we broke up? I mean, it hadn't been confirmed but....he hadn't exactly said we were still together.
Did I even want to be with him? Did I want to be around someone who thought i was childish? I already knew the answer though. Of course I did. I didn't view him as "the guy who thinks I'm childish"; I viewed him as the amazing, beautiful, kind-hearted man who changed me life more than I could ever put into words.
I needed him, but who's to say he needed me?
Third person POV:
His legs were completely numb, his eyes wouldn't open and the only word repeating in his head was..... Joey
He could hear sirens and muffled voices, he could hear car horns and concerned voices. .....but non of that mattered, he needed Joey.
The car had felt like nothing he could ever have imagined. Why had he decided to take a break? Why had he gone to Mexico? Why had he left the person who meant the absolute world to him? Joey.
He didn't know if he was going to live. He didn't even really know where he was. He just knew one thing....the last thing he'd done was leave the love of his life. Joey.
