Chapter 5: History Repeats Itself

Alex's P.O.V.

   The rest of the day went by normally. I liked all my classes except for Muggle Studies. Though i never have liked it. Don't get me wrong the teacher is great a really sweet lady and she loves me because of all my knowledge of the muggle world, but i hate sitting there listening to what I already know. It was dinner and I was sitting with M. and Will. M. was going on about her classes and how it was such a drag we didn't have any together. When dinner ended I was walking back to the dungeons with them both. "Ms. Dumbledore." I heard a cold but beautiful voice say. I turned to see Severus standing behind me, but not looking at me. His eyes were glued on will for some reason.

      "Yes sir?"

       "I need to speak with you in my office."  I looked to both of my friends and they gave me worried looks.

       "Alright sir." I said following him down the corridor. We made it to his office and he opened the door for me. When I walked in I heard the door slam and Severus corned me to the wall. He put bothof his hands next to my head trapping me. "Is something wrong?" He gave me a stern look.

       "How much do you know about Mr. Everett?" I gave him a quizzical look.

       "I don't know he's from North Carolina, he transferred from Durmstrang, he did a lot of moving as a kid. What is this about?" I asked getting worried.

       "North Carolina you said?" He asked me backing off.

       "Yeah."

       "And he transferred from Durmstrang?"

       "Yes Severus what is going on?"

       "I don't exactly know. i just don't get a good feeling about him. Something isn't right."

       "How do you mean."

       "I don't know just a feeling."

       "Well, he seems perfectly normal to me. He's very nice. Maybe even a little shy. Malfoy was tormenting him in the common room this morning." His eyes shot up at the mention of Malfoy, but he tried to hide something. I stepped closer to him, and layed a hand on his cheek.

       "Severus is... is everything alright. You seem tense."

       "Fine. I did have something I needed to discuss with you."

       "Okay."

       "As you know we are in need of a captain for our quidditch team."

       "Yes."

       "Well, your the best chaser in the school and more than qualified, i think." My face lit up.

       "You're saying you want me to be captain?" i said excitedly.

       "Obviously." he stated. I squealed and Severus's eyes widened a bit.

        "Yes yes!! I accept!" I said jumping into is arms. He caught me with ease and before i knew it my arms were around his neck and my legs around his waist. He studied my face for a moment before slowly leaning him. I closed my eyes just as our lips met. He gave me a soft slow sweet kiss, and i savoured every second of it. But it was over all to soon and he stood me back on my feet.

        "I hate to say this, but you better get going. I don't want anyone getting suspicious." My heart dropped a little but he was right.

        "Okay" I said heading to the door.

        "Trials are next week for quidditch. They will be held next monday by you." I nodded. "Alex."
