Alex's P.O.V.
I looked around my room to see if there was anything else I needed to pack for Christmas Holiday. Satisfied with what I had, I closed my trunk just as I heard a knock coming from my wall. That's weird. Severus said he was coming by Floo. I walked into the living room and flicked my wand at the wall causing it to open. But the person standing in the opening, to my dismay, was not Severus. Instead Will stood there grinning from ear to ear. "Alex!" He yelled as he ran in and wrapped me in a tight hug. I couldn't help the smile that came across my lips when he did. I hadn't seen him in so long. He'd gotten stronger thats for sure and a little more buff than before.
"Hey Will." I said chuckling and hugged him back.
"I've missed you! Where have you been?! Why where you in the infirmary?! Who hurt you?! I-"
"Will! Shut up!" I yelled, laughing and snapping him out of his thoughts, causing him pull back slightly to look at me.
"I'm sorry... I've just missed you so much. You haven't been in classes or at meals an that git, Snape wouldn't let me see you. What happened?"
"Will, it's a long story that we're not going to get into today. Alright? I've just been in a bad spot, but I'm okay now."
"Are you sure?" I nodded and he smiled again. "You have no idea how much I've missed you Alex. Slughorn has as well. He asked about you everyday. You're one of his favorites. He drove me crazy with questions about where you were. And Snape... Merlin Snape. He's been relentless. Last week he made like four first years cry," Thats my man. "you're lucky you haven't been there. I'd give anything to hex that asshole. I swear one mor-"
"Will you're rambling." I was getting tired of his comments. He chuckled and hugged me closed again.
"I know I'm just so happy to see you. Don't disappear like that again... please..." He mumbled the last part.
"I won't Will I promise."
"Thank you. It's been hell without you."
"It's been hell for both of us, but everything's going to be okay."
"Oh!" Will exclaimed as he dug in his robes. He pulled out a medium sized rectangular package. "I got you something for Christmas."
"You didn't have to do that Will."
"I know, but I wanted to." I took the package he held out to me and frowned a bit.
"I didn't get you anything...I'm sorry Will. Things have just been...hectic." I felt really bad. I'd gone shopping yesterday and I had bought presents for Severus, Remus, Tonks, Harry, Hermione, and all the Weasley's, but nothing for Will. How could I have forgotten?
"Hey, don't worry about it. I just saw this in Hogsmeade and I thought of you. I don't need anything."
"Alright...Thank you."
"He cheer up! I got you a present. Open it!" His mop of black hair bounced as he yelled excitedly. I had to laugh.
"But it's not Christmas yet!"
"I don't give a damn if it's Easter i want to see you open it!" Will let out a hearty laugh and motioned for me to open the package.
"Alright alright! Calm down." I slowly tore open the carefully wrapped paper to reveal a beautiful black and silver journal with my initials on the front.
