Alex's P.O.V.

"Alex I'm worried. Things are getting worse. You can see it everywhere. The disappearances are becoming impossible to ignore. I want you to write more often. I need to know that you're okay. Dumbledore assures me you are, but I want to hear that from you. How have the nightmares been? Did you try the Dream Catcher I sent you? I don't know if it will work... Tonks says they do... Worth a shot right? I need to hear from you. It's been two months... with everything that's happening we need to keep the ones we care for the closest. Please let me know you're okay...

                                                                                      Love, Moony"

I sighed to myself as I re-read Remus' letter for the thousandth time and put it in the drawer with all the other he's sent the past two months. The first one he sent he was a total wreck. Right after I had been cursed... He went ballistic. It killed me to do it, but I couldn't write back. I vowed I wouldn't. As I grabbed my bag and walked through the wall to the corridor I wiped away a few tears that had decided to form in my eyes and headed to breakfast. When I got there Will and M were already sitting across from one another chatting happily. "Hey." I said as I plopped down next to her and grabbed a piece of toast.

"Sleep late?" She asked finishing off her breakfast and juice. I shook my head.

"No I just really wasn't that hungry so I was reading a bit."

"Stop spending so much time in that room of yours! I feel like I never get to see you anymore. I miss living with you." She pouted.

"I know M... I miss it too." Will had an excited look on his face that was starting to creep me out a little. "What's up with you?"

"Tell me you're not excited for the game tomorrow! Against Gryffindor I mean come on. I can't wait to get out there and cream Potter."

"Merlin not you too. What do you guys have against him?" I chuckled and drank some of my juice.

"He's a prick!" Will stated seriously. "Always going around bragging about being the chosen one. Not to mention acting like he's the best seeker in the world. He's just never had any real competition."

"First off when have you ever heard him brag about being the chosen one?" He thought for a moment.

"Well maybe I haven't, but other people have."

"Yeah? Like who? Malfoy? Real reliable source you have there Will."

"Whatever. Doesn't matter. I'm still going to kick his ass at Quidditch.

"Okay Will. You keep up that spirit then"  I chuckled turning back to M. She was staring down at her plate. "What's wrong with you?" When she looked up at me I immediately began to move away and opened my mouth to scream but she cut me off and grabbed the front of my robes pulling me back and closer.

"Shut your mouth or I'll kill her now." I did as told. I couldn't let him hurt her. Her eyes flashed dangerously. "Alex I've lost my patience with you. It's been a year and your choice was a simple one. Unfortunately you've wasted too much time and I am done playing nice. I tried Alex I really did. I tried to be patient. But I have no more time to waste on you. I need to begin you're training. Alex I want you to know what is going to happen is indeed entirely your fault. You've done this. I warned you. Say goodbye." He made M flash me a wicked smile then I could tell he was gone. M closed her eyes for a moment then looked at me terrified.
