Y/N pov

No training? That's not fair. I'm gonna train. I walk out to the training grounds and practice killing titans. I can't do hand to hand combat, so this will have to do. It's so easy though. These things don't even move. When will I get some real action? I want to see real titans. And kill them I guess. I mean, that's my job, yeah? I wanna see outside these walls. Lakes made of ice, endless water, sand, I want to be able to leave this place someday and lay in the sand staring up at the stars with Levi. We'd have a nice house. Nothing too big. Near the endless water. Maybe three rooms. Three rooms sounds nice. Not too big, not too small. I want to have a future where we don't have to worry about something outside. I'm sure if the titans leave that there will still be problems, but I don't want Levi to have to fight anymore. I just want us to live a peaceful life. So I guess that's why I'm fighting. I'm fighting with him so he doesn't have to fight as hard. Maybe we won't be free in our lifetime, but maybe with our efforts, the next generation will be free.

As I'm thinking these things and chopping up the dummies, I see Sasha.

"Hey Foodie. What's up?"

"Why did you call me Foodie?"

"You always eat my food. Especially the soup. Want me to call you Soupy?"

"No. Call me Sasha. Like you always do. Besides, you're the only one that's called me that. Everyone else calls me potato girl. All except you and the squad leaders. And commander Erwin. Anyways, lunch time."

"Lunch time? I just got out here."

"Actually, you've been here for 3 hours. 30 minutes til lunch. I figured I'd give you time to shower. As I expected, you're all sweaty and your hair is frizzy and stuff. Now go shower and meet me at the mess hall."

"Alright I guess." Did I really train for three hours? That's insane. It seems like I was only out here a few minutes. Now that she mentions it though, I am all sweaty. Best go shower.

I go shower and get dressed for the second time today. I've still got time to spare, so I decide to sit outside for a bit and enjoy the silence. You don't often get that here. Everyone's probably sleeping since they had free time.

I decide to climb a tree just because I can. I got about 6 and a half feet up and leaned against the trunk. It's a really hot day, but it's nice in the shade. There's a nice breeze and some clouds off in the distance. Maybe a coldfront is coming through. It's almost October now. Should be starting to cool off. That's exciting. I love cold weather. I also love snow, but it's not the best to train in. It is doable, but not the best.

"What are you doing?"

I can't wait for Christmas. That's Levi's birthday. I don't know what to get him yet though. It's ok. I've got lots of time to think about it.

"Earth to Y/N."

Come to think of it, I'll need to get him two things. One for his birthday, and one for Christmas.

"Damn it Y/N. Answer me!"

What do I want for Christmas?

"I don't think she hears us."

"What? Shes seriously right there."

"She zones out a lot. At least she used to."

I know what I want!

"How do you snap her out of it?"

"Slapping her normally does the trick."

"That's mean! Isn't there anything else?"

"I could push her off the tree. Better?"

"NO! Plus, you're too short. You can't even reach her."
