Hange pov

I'm sick of sitting here. This is just plain boring. I run to my office and grab a sketchbook. I go decide to go downstaits. I'm trying to think of what to draw but it's hard without any inspiration. I look up a bit and see Scott's sleeping face. Now THAT is what I call inspiration. I draw his chiseled face and his raven black hair that covers one eye. His bright blue eyes that you look in to and can't seem to escape. Everything about him is perfect. The way he looks kind without saying a word even though he's intimidating.

I look up and see him watching me draw.

"Oh. Hi Scott."

"Hi. What are you doing?"

"I'm drawing."

"What are you drawing?"

"Nothing."

"Come on. Let me see."

"No. It's not that good. Not something worth showing anyone."

"I'm sure you're wrong. Let me see."

I hold up the sketchbook, but don't show him the picture I was actually drawing. Instead, I show him a picture of a forest. A river runs through the trees and there are a few flowers here and there. Luckily, I hadn't ever finished it so it makes a good cover.

"See? Not that good."

"I think it's wonderful. A true piece of art."

"How long have you been awake?"

"Five ten minutes maybe. I'm sorry for not saying anything. You looked so happy and focused. I couldn't bring myself to inturupt."

"Oh. That's very kind of you, but I prefer talking to you over sketching."

"Oh. Thanks. I'm flattered. Well since we're talking now, I wanted to appologize for being so forward the other night."

"What do you mean?"

"When I called you beautiful and stuff. I didn't mean to put you on the spot or anything, I just felt like speaking my mind before death. Not like it mattered. I seem to still be alive. Anyways. I'm sorry if I embarrassed you or something."

"You didn't embarrass me Scott. It was actually really nice. I don't ever get compliments. Everyone here thinks I'm weird. Not pretty. Especially not beautiful."

"You don't get compliments? That's crazy. You should get lots of compliments. I meant what I said you know. You truly are beautiful. The most beautiful person I've met."

"Now you're just being crazy."

"Nonsense. I'm telling the truth. I feel like I'm dead or something because you look like an angel."

My already red face is getting reder by the second.

"Honestly. You're too kind."

"It's nothing. Beautiful ladies should know they're beautiful."

All I can do is look down at the ground. There's really nothing else I can say.

"So what was it you were really drawing Hange?"

"I showed you already."

"I was an assassin, remember? I notice the little things. I saw you flip the page. Now show me. Please."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"I'm embarrassed."

"You shouldn't be."
