Levi pov

"No. No no no no no. No. NO!" Y/N started talking in her sleep.

I shook her awake and she had a look of terror on her face.

"It was just a nightmare. It's ok. Don't worry. It's over now."

She jumped out of bed and came over to me and gave me a giant hug. She was squeezing the life out of me.

"Hey. It's alright. Calm down."

She started crying.

"Hey. Look at me."

She lifted her head a bit and looked at me.

"You're ok, I'm ok, everything's ok." I repeated the one line that I used to tell her years ago when she couldn't calm down.

She smiled a bit and gave me another hug. "I'm gonna be ok, right?"

"What? Of course you'll be ok."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

"Ok...ok. I'm ok. I'll be ok."

"What's wrong? What happened?"

"My nightmare. There was a man. He wore a hood over his head so I couldn't see his face. He was going to stick me with a needle while I was sleeping, but I woke up before he had a chance. When I tried to fight him off, he put a good over my head and knocked me out. When I woke up, I was surrounded by three men. They all wore different colored hoods. More like cloaks. The one that took me wore a black one. Then there was a red one and the other was white. The one I red told me that he was the one who poisoned me and they were taking turns. That night the man in black was supposed to do it and in two days the one in white would. But the one in black failed, so they decided to kill me in person instead of slowly letting the poison build up inside of me and eventually kill me. Then another man in blue came out with a knife. He was coming closer and closer, but I couldn't move. There wasn't a way for me to escape. Something was holding me down. That's when you woke me up."

"Don't worry. I'm here with you now. Nobody is going to take you away. Not when I'm here. I'm never letting you out of my sight, alright? I'll protect you."

"But what if somehow someone takes me away? What do I do?"

"All you have to do is wait for me. I'll come find you. But that won't happen because I'll always be by your side."

"Ok. I don't feel good."

"Oh, right. Sasha brought this by. Some medicine. You should take it. It will help you feel better."

"Do I have to?" I nod my head and she hesitantly takes the medicine and quickly washes it down with water.  "I hate that stuff."

"Ok. Now you should get back to sleep. Resting will help you heal faster. Besides, there's nothing else to do in here since we can't leave."

"I'm too scared to sleep."

"I'll be right here." I say still sitting in my chair. I'm right next to the bed. I don't see why she's so scared.

She just looks at me for a minute.

"What?"

She sits there still silent.

"Y/N?"

"Please?" She says tilting her head a bit.

"Eh?"

"Come on. Please please?"

?

"You need to sleep too. Come on."

Oh.

I climb into bed close to her and she snuggles into my chest. I'm so glad to have her back.

Sasha pov

I know Hange told me I'm not a bad person, but I still feel bad. I mean, I guess it's a good thing that she was with Levi when she collapsed because I would've figured she was sleeping. But why wouldn't I listen to her when she told me something was wrong?

Oh Y/N. I'm so sorry. I should've taken you more seriously.

"Sasha? What's wrong?"

When I looked up to see who was talking to me, I saw Connie there.

"Huh? Oh. I'm uh. I'm fine."

"If you're fine, why are you crying?"

I reached up and touched my cheek. Sure enough, there are tears. I didn't notice I was crying until now.

"Oh. I was uh. I was thinking about my friend. She's very sick and I feel bad for her." I wasn't lying, but I feel bad not telling him the whole truth.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. You shouldn't cry though. I'm sure there's nothing you could've done to keep her from getting sick."

"Yeah. I guess you're right."

"So cheer up. I love seeing you smile. It brightens up my day. When you don't smile, I can't smile. So smile. Please. For me?"

I giggled a bit and started smiling again.

"That's better. So about Saturday. I guess we'll have to postpone our date. I think we have a free day next Saturday so we can go then. I mean, that's if you still want to of course."

"Of course I still want to. It'll be lots of fun. I'm looking forward to it!" I said happily. I'm glad he still wants to go with me. I was worried he would take this chance to back out because of the kiss incident. But I guess not! This is great.

We walk to class and sit down together. Hange is talking, but I can't pay attention. I'm too excited about my date. He even called it a date! It's funny how easily he can change my mood. In a good way. I'm glad he's here. Even if we don't end up together, I'm happy having him as a friend. I think we'll end up together though. I hope so anyways. He's such a nice guy. I'm surprised girls aren't flocking over him. That's ok though. That gives me more time to spend with him.

I have to survive this mission. If I don't, I'll miss Saturday. And I'll leave Y/N behind. I still need to make it up to her somehow, so I can't leave yet. I won't die. No way. I promise.
