Her voice was clear, she called out her mother. The girl from before was talking to her yet, she didn't look much interested in what she was talking since, she noticed her own daughter.

"M-Mother?" France uttered out again, fixating her gaze on her mother.

"Huh? You have a daughter?!" The girl couldn't believe what she heard.

She rushed up to her and hugged her tightly, I could swear, my heart melted for a while there.

"My dear France, why is it that you are here?" She looked at me, "To top it all of, why are you with the Spiralla prince?"

"Mother, we came here because...you! You're studying here?!"

"Who, me?" The girl pointed at herself.

"Of course, who else?! Why in the world are you talking to my mother? Have you no shame, talking to a queen?! You foolish and idiotic commoner!" She seethed at this student, who backed up on the lockers.

"Silence!"

"My apologies for seething at her..." France apologized.

I was at loss for words here, I couldn't even speak. A lot of things were happening at the same time, it was hard to follow.

---

We were taken to a small apartment. Apparently, this is where my aunt was staying. Not before long we entered, I was at the same level of shock as what my company experienced earlier. She was standing in a doorway, a poker face emotion that spread across her face.

My own black irises met her emerald ones yet, as expected, she was hard to read. She had always been unreadable, always wearing an emotionless expression not until, someone has to change it into something goofy.

"You're also here?" I managed to choke out. To me, it sounded inaudible, but it was quite clear that she heard it.

"I should ask you that." She went near me, putting her hands to my shoulders. "I should, somehow, rephrase that; what are you doing here?"

"I..." I couldn't form the words that I should say. I know why I'm here, yet, why can't I say it?

"Don't fret, I already know why."

"Mother, are you..." I tried searching my mind for the words I had to say, "against what I'm doing?"

"Why should I be against it?" She crossed her arms, turning her back at me. "After all, I was the one who gave you permission, yes?"

"Hold up, hold up!" The girl from earlier scrambled, her hands sending gestures everywhere. "You guys have children?!"

"I'm technically a hundred years old, considering your timeline..." Mother's voice trailed off, pursing her lips.

The girl cocked a brow and uttered out a "huh", as if not believing her words. That might be true, however, I can never be sure for I don't know how far we jumped ahead of time just to retrieve someone.

Rather, are we still in the same age when we left my time? There are things that contradict that, mainly how they look younger than what they're supposed to be.

"What is your name, pitiful commoner?" France managed to ask after a while.

"Mika Cray and stop calling me a commoner!" She fumed at her.

"Hmph." She scoffed before turning her attention back to my aunt. They seem to be in a deep conversation though, I couldn't understand the language they were using. It sounded like their native language.

"I see...so she sent you to help out the prince?"

"Ja." She timidly answered.

That was the only thing I understood from their whole conversation; basically, they would sometimes converse in English and then revert back to their language.

"Mother, if I may ask, have you...found a lead?"

"Hmm, my dear...I cannot say for sure." Her eyes displayed a distinct emotion in them; she felt hopeless.

"Why is that?"

"That girl," She surreptitiously pointed at the person who introduced herself as Mika Cray. "She showed some signs yet, we can't determine it yet."

I nodded, putting a finger to my chin. "What are her signs?"

Mother told me everything that happened ever since she came to this house, in full detail. I learned of the spell, the virulent kind that can definitely knock anyone unconscious once a part of their body collides with it. Apparently, it was only an experiment to see if she manages to heal herself from it. Mother didn't know why it was done, but she knew, my aunt clearly sensed a cloud of strange energy from within Mika.

"I understand..."

I place my gaze at her, she seemed too normal, kind of like those people who yearn for the Mythical power. I've heard it traced back to when there was an ancient gemstone that can give any normal being immense powers that amounted to that of a Mythical.

A cheery voice broke my thoughts. At first, I thought it came from France since everyone looked her way yet, all we saw was a grainy image of someone I know too well.

"Guten Tag."

A gasp was heard; it was from Mika. "Holy crap, you're...a ghost!"

"How dare you speak to my sister that way, commoner?!" France screeched, ready to go at her.

"I see, there is a feud between the target and the princess." Platinein flashed her famous smirk at us.

"What feud? There is no such thing!" She retorted.

"I didn't make my presence known to bicker with you, schwester."

She made a strange gesture, which I recognized. It was a way of greeting between Mythicals. Mother and aunt did the same, even bowing in the process.

"I am here to discuss a thing that will, or might, possibly help all of you in searching for the princess." She began, standing in a royal stance, which was just standing straight.

"The connection between Mythicals is very weak in your place, hence, I couldn't find a way to talk to others in there."

"Is that why, I couldn't contact you?"

"Precisely."

"So why are you here now?" The girl asked.

"My source is coming from my sister over there. With her necklace, I can...make a hologram of myself in your world.

She paused for a while before speaking again. Little did I know, that thing would be one of the biggest riddles that I have all of us have to solve.
"Anyway, let us get into the business. I only have one clue for the princess: she is right under your noses, all along."
