-------------------------------------

Weekend came quickly. Time to bore myself for two days. Not much happened this week, except for that strange event.

Speaking of which, I began to take interest in these Mythicals. Was it also an after effect of the spell? No one can say for sure. I kept on reading the same Mythical book so I have some questions which are unanswerable.

What happened to the princess? She mysteriously disappeared, what's more, some members of the royal family from the other kingdoms began disappearing as well. The mystery that shrouds the disappearance of these people are still a mystery.

Is there a second book for this? I mean, people would tend to ask for a sequel if there's questions that are yet to be answered. Sometimes, the author would decide that yet they don't always push a sequel.

Suddenly, I heard my doorbell ringing. I hurried down the stairs to open the door for some unwanted visitors. If that was Kyle, he would just barge in. If it was my parents, they would message or call me if they're going to pay me a visit.

I opened the door and was greeted by two weird people. They looked like  cosplayers since their outfits were of a Victorian Age style. I thought it to be weird at first but, to be honest, they fit in the Modern Age.

"Uh, yes?" I didn't know what to say, my mind instantly went blank.

"We are just State Prosecutors."

"And? What business do you have with me? If you're looking for my parents, you got bad luck cause they're not here." I was about to close the door when I heard one of them speak.

She was an adult woman, roughly about eighteen to twenty years old. She wore an emotionless yet stoic expression and her arms were crossed.
"They're not our target, instead, we're here to speak with you."

Remembering that they were prosecutors, my instinct was to raise both of my hands to my chest, palms facing them. "I didn't do anything!"

Her eyes seemed to shoot daggers at me, which terrified me further. She shot me a look then said, "Fool, we're not here for that."

I felt like that was an assurance that I wouldn't be arrested or anything so I lowered my guard. I let my hands fall to my sides, but still, I was scared.

"Wouldn't it be much better if you let us in? Talking here isn't exactly a nice place." The man said with a small grin and so, I let them in. I was still hesitant of my actions but I doubt they'll do any harm on me.

They sat on my couch and I just looked at them. I look so dumbfounded at this very moment, my mind is really drawing a blank.

"Are you just going to stand there?" I heard the woman say. I gulped, okay maybe she's the one scaring my poor soul.

My feet had a mind of its own, thankfully, since it led me to the other couch so I was facing them. I bit my lip and my eyes wandered around.

"You seem pretty normal." I heard a comment.

"Uh...of course, since I'm a human." I practically stated the obvious.

"Tsk," She wagged a finger at me. I only noticed it just now but, she was wearing black gloves. My house was warm since I have the thermostat up in a hot temperature but she's not even affected of the heat. "That's not what he meant."

"So, what did you mean?" I questioned, emphasising the word 'did'.

"You seem pretty normal for someone who experienced supernatural things a few days ago." She said, using the four exact words from earlier.

My mouth fell open, I haven't told anyone about that, not even Kyle. I'm the only one who knows that!

"Your reaction speaks too much." She observed, smirking up at me.

"O-of course I would be shocked!" I retorted, "It's normal since I haven't told anyone of that!"

"Hmph." She wagged at me again, "Mika Cray, we aren't just prosecutors, if that wasn't obvious yet."

If my mouth would fall to the floor, well, I'll just leave it there. My eyes couldn't get any more bigger than they are. "That...how do you know my name?! I haven't told you that either!"

"One typical prosecutor would say we looked into you before coming here..."

He the continued her sentence, "But we aren't your typical prosecutors."

"Just get to the point already!"

"We know a lot about you, Mika Cray. You could say, the information from your files is just a piece of small information to what we have in our minds."

My breath seethed, I was furious but still scared. Dammit, my hesitance was right! I shouldn't have let them in!

I couldn't do it, I couldn't send them out. There was something about them that tells me not to let them leave my house.

"Since now you know my name, wouldn't be fair enough if I knew yours?"

"Why not?"

A different aura stirred in the warm atmosphere in the living room. One would say, this woman's aura is something otherworldly, if that was even a thing.

"I'm the only Perfect Prodigy existing here on Earth-"

"On Earth?" I asked loudly. She shot me a look. Oops, I spoke my thoughts...

"Yes, here on Earth!" She regained her composure after seething at me. That was a little hilarious; the air lifted a bit.

"Pleasure to meet you, I am Franziska von Karma."

"Erm, pleased to meet you as well." I hesitantly say, I don't know why but I felt kind of relaxed again. I turned to her company, waiting for his name.

He introduced, "I'm Miles Edgeworth."

I nodded at them. Now that I know their names, I know how to address them properly.

"How come you know of what had happened?"

"We are to remain silent about that."

"Why?" I suddenly got curious. They come to me with that knowledge and yet, they won't tell me?

"It's something that doesn't happen to, let's say, normal fools."

"So, you're saying I'm not normal?" I quirked an eyebrow.

"No, it's not that we consider you as not normal." He denied, shaking his head. "You could say, you're a special person."

"Special? In what way?"

"That is for you to find out. Now if you'll excuse us, we have a job to do."

They stood up and left without a word. I guess this adds to the mystery pile in my head? Who were they, for real?

When it was my turn to get up and leave for my room, I noticed something on the glass table in front of the sofas we both sat on. It was sparkling and something in me seemed to had an attachment to it.

I inhale a sharp breath, something played before my eyes, it was too blurry to make a sense of it.

Before I knew it, I was sprawled on the floor, unconscious.
