The maid's words swirled around in my mind. There is just no way that my sister went missing! She can't be missing, she still has to do her duties as the descendant of the Second Ancestral Mythical! I do not exactly know of the name of this Mythical yet I've heard that they randomly choose a descendant from one of the royal families that exist in the whole world with magical powers.

There are rules about being an Ancestral Mythical, one I've already mentioned. The second one is you need an ancestor which was a Mythical before, to be one of them. The third one, you must be immensely powerful as if no one can defeat you. That is why no one dares to step on their name, if you get it.

"The princess is missing...?" My mother sat on her own throne, both of her hands covering her face. "No, that cannot happen! She's an Ancestral Mythical, she can't just disappear!"

When you're an Ancestral Mythical, you still continue your life from here. You don't transport to the Heavens or anywhere, not until it is really needed. True, my sister is an Ancestral Mythical but the others should've informed us if they were to take her somewhere for a task. My sister still has a long way to go, she's not even fully considered an Ancestral Mythical yet.

To be fully considered an Ancestral Mythical, you need to be at the age of consent, which is eighteen. At this point, my sister is only five years old, she still has thirteen years before she can even be fully considered as such! That's why she can't just disappear without a trace.

"No, no, no!"

My mother sent forth all of the palace guards to search for the whereabouts of my sister. They looked for her in the town, the woods, everywhere yet, there wasn't a trace of her anywhere. My mother fell in utter despair, first we lost my father, who was a brave warrior who fought in the outskirts of our kingdom and now, my sister.

For days, she'll spend her day ignoring her usual routine -- which was taking a walk around town -- just to find my sister. I tried to join the other guards in her search yet my mother had forbid me, saying that I may get lost as well. I can't really blame her on that, she can't afford to lose her whole family in just one swoop.

My other relatives, who were my mother's siblings, also joined in the search in their own kingdom. They came up empty-handed, as I've expected.

Mother released a notice, wherein a reward money is given to those who would and could find her whereabouts. Some took advantage of it, just for the sake of the reward. Mother would hold a trial in the royal court to see if she can find new information from the potential suspects that the guards have found. When no information was collected, they were detained in the dungeon.

---

I am now twenty years old and I feel like Spiralla is falling into shambles. It has been thirteen years since that tragedy happened and still, there was no sign of her anywhere. The palace guards expanded their search, far and wide, just to find my sister, yet it was just a dead-end.

My mother finally decided that I should go off on my own to find my sister. I saw in her eyes that it was hard for her to release me but it had to be.

"I promise, I will bring her back, no matter what." I boldly claimed to her.

My mother showed no sign of aging despite all of this.

"Yes. Yes you will." She held my shoulders, "Bring her back safely."

I nodded with a smile.

"The horse that you'll be needing is outside the palace gates. I wish you luck, my son."

---

I departed. My horse ran through the woods to a place where only me and my mother know about. I got off my horse and faced a large wall that is actually a moving rock. I clapped my hands together and focused on that wall. The land shook, startling my horse so I calmed it down.

I entered the new place and looked for the hut of a person my family knew in this place. The location was grassy and there was a lake in the center.

"The hut should be around her somewhere."

"I take it yer lookin' for me?"

I heard a voice speak from behind. I turned around and it was just the person I had to look for. She had a smug look on her face and had her arms crossed.

"That's right, I am."

"Oi, if yer goin' to ask about that sister of yours, yer gettin' no answer from me."

I pulled out a small bag of coins.

"Then you're not getting this."

"Money, money! Gimme the loot!"

"Not until you speak up, lady!"

"You want an answer? Its simple. She's not anywhere in where you're standing, nor outside. She's in a different place now, one that is so far from all of you!" Her strange accent broke and laughed at the top of her lungs.

What a crazy old lady.

"What do you mean?!"

"Gone from Spiralla, gone from your world! Bah, is it really that hard for you not to get?"

My sister, gone from this place? Is that why there's no trace of her? This is just a wild goose chase! She must still be around here somewhere!

Yet, truth be told, I can't feel her aura anymore in the kingdom.
