---------------------------------

What she said sent a mild chill down my spine. Her words kept repeating inside of my mind, a slight fear taking over my system. What I saw yesterday wasn't something I expected, given that this woman seemed to be relaxed and chill with everything. Mika Cray seemed normal from this point of view but when I entered her mind, she was a monster, a freak. Still, those words are just understatements of what I've seen.

"Whoa there." I snapped out of my thoughts, blinking and eyeing the redhead.

"Of course I didn't mean any of that!"

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes, I know too well that she meant that, she wasn't just aware that what I've seen is eerily similar to that of a prophecy.

What if it was?

"Well," the redhead shrugged, "I was shocked and kinda got scared with that. You were like a different person!"

I bit the insides of my cheeks. This redhead is far from being oblivious. Maybe...foolish. I just couldn't find a better word right now, given that I'm still bothered with everything.

"You should tell them. It's dangerous to let it pass."

I found a secluded place to communicate with my sister. Luckily, I had a free period, so I used it to consult her with everything.

"Should I?"

"Do you want it to haunt you everyday?" She scoffed, sending me a glare. "For all we know, you might be the first victim."

"Platinein!" I shrieked. She only rolled her eyes at me. It ticked me off, honestly.

"What I'm saying is, you should tell them or it'll be too late."

She disappeared from the hologram, cutting off our conversation. Honestly speaking, Platinein should watch her words. What she speaks sometimes happen at unexpected times and we'll only realize it when it happens.

I'm probably just overthinking it.

I went out of the room, side eyeing the hallways to see if it's already clear, luckily it was. I walked over to where my next class should be, thoughts flooding my mind again.

I stop in my tracks, the clicking of my heels echoing across the hallway. Mika Cray, regardless of what her true nature is, should be stopped at all costs. She's a madwoman whose origins and purpose are unbeknownst to anyone as of the moment.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I jumped slightly but held my composure.

"You're jumpy today."

"You idiot," I turned to face Nicholas, "I was in the middle of a discussion in my head. Of course, one would jump upon being disturbed."

"And what is that 'discussion' you're talking about?" He inquired, air quoting the word discussion.

"Nothing. It has no relation to you-" My eyes quickly sharpened, glaring up at him. "What are you even doing out here?"

"I took a break. Got bored inside that classroom."
