"Where's my princess ah? What happened to her?" napalingon ako sa kararating palang na matandang lalaki. He was the speaker with a funny moustache last night.
So he was Nickan's father huh?
"Ahh sir, nasa E.R pa po si ma'am Nickan," sagot nung chauffeur ni Nickan dito. Napahilamos ito sa mukha at pagkatapos ay napatingin sa direksyon ko. For some reason ay napaubo naman ako. I can sense his death glares concentrating on me.
"Ei, you look familiar! Aren't you the one who solved the case at the party?" tanong niya sakin. Huminga muna ako ng malalim at saka siya hinarap ng maayos.
"Ahh yes sir. I'm Euclid Shellingford, Nickan's friend," magalang kong pakilala dito. Tiningnan niya ko from head to toe. Mukhang may masama akong pakiramdam dito ah?
"At anong ginagawa mo dito hijo ha? Don't tell me you were at the scene nang napahamak ang anak ko ah? That's absurd for a coincidence!" medyo suplado pa nitong sabi. Well, kahina-hinala nga naman na kasama ko si Nickan this late hour at may nangyari pang masama sa kanya.
"Well actually, yun po talaga nangyari. I was with Nickan nang mabaril po siya..," sabi ko na ikinalaki ng mata nito.
"A-are you my daughter's stalker?," malakas nitong tanong. I don't know kung seryoso siya niyan or not. Seriously, sa gwapo kong 'to pagkakamalan niya kong stalker?
"Why would I stalk your daughter sir? I don't have any reason to do that..," kalmado kong sabi. Now I know kung kanino nagmana ng pagiging hyper si Nickan!
"You don't have any reason? Then why are you with her then?" Naniningkit yung mata niyang tinitigan ako. I feel like he's interrogating me for some reason.
"May dinalaw lang din po ako sa lugar na yun and it happened na nandun din po siya.. at yun nga kasama ko siya nang mabaril siya.." mahina kong sabi habang palapit ang mukha niya sa mukha ko. Napalunok naman ako.
"Sinong bumaril sa kanya? Nakita mo ba?" seryoso nitong tanong.
"I'm not yet sure..," sabi ko na lang. I don't wanna involve other people in the 'game' Moriarty has made for the two of us. Nanahimik naman na siya at naupo na sa tabi ko. Maya-maya, nakita kong may tinawagan siya cellphone niya. Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin at saka tumingin na lang sa pinto ng E.R.
"Inosente? I don't think so! As far as I'm concerned, M.I Class A leader Nicole Sheedo is involved in our game Mr. Euclid! So, 'til next time?"
Why did he know about Nickan being an M.I agent? It looks like Moriarty is really something... and the Dark Chaos... why is it that they're so interested about that Radio Frequency Identification (RFId) chip that was said to be in Nickan's body? And Nicole... if the RFId is really the reason why she has disappeared that day, bakit kailangan pa siyang patayin? Nakukuha naman agad ang RFId kapag dinaan sa minor operation ah... is it to shut her up or may iba pang reason?
Aish! Kung bakit naman kasi pinagbawalan nila ko noon na imbestigahan ang kaso ni Nicole eh!
I heard my phone rang so I took it from my coat at saka ito sinagot. Tumayo muna ako at saka lumayo ng kaunti.
"Hello uncle Dy?"
"Bad news Euclid."
"What is it?"
"Huskar is dead. Ayon sa mga witness, may lalaking nakamotor daw ang humarang sa police mobile at pinagbabaril yung mga pulis. Akala nga daw nila patatakasin lang si Huskar, but in the end, binaril din ito nung lalaki."
"Anong itsura daw nung lalaki? Any description?"
"Nakahelmet na black and red daw, black jacket and jeans.. mga 5'7 ang taas.."
