After receiving the text message from Nicolai containing the address where they are, pumunta agad kami ni Nickan dito.
“Ano bang nangyayari Euclid?” tanong ni Nickan habang nagdadrive ako.
“She’s trying to kill Lamperouge’s sister. We need to get there on time!”
“You mean…”
That girl… I won’t allow her to kill anyone…
After ilang minuto, nakarating na rin kami sa sinasabing lugar ni Nicolai. It was an abandoned building. I tried to contact him pero walang nasagot sa kabilang linya. Just what the heck happened to him?
“Maiwan ka na lang di—“
“NO!” sigaw niya.
“Aish! It’s not safe there kaya dito ka na lang!” sabi ko sa kanya.
“Are you underestimating my strength huh? Nalimutan mo na bang Leader pa rin ako ng Class A ng Red Phoenix?”
“Tss. Fine. Come on!” binuksan ko na ang pinto ng kotse at magkasabay na lumabas. Honestly, nawala nga sa isip ko na secret agent nga din pala ang babaeng ‘to.
Maingat kaming lumapit sa may building. It was too quiet. Maya-maya, may narinig kaming mga kaluskos na nagmumula sa isa sa mga rooms. Tahimik kaming lumapit dito.
“Akemi Queeny Lamperouge. Who would have thought that you’ll going to show your face on me just because I threatened you that I’m gonna tell everyone about the truth? Haha you are so pathetic,” rinig naming sabi ng isang babae.
“P-please… stop this,” sa boses niya, mukhang nakatali siya at nahihirapan. What’s happening inside?
“Stop? Why would I? It’s making my heart beats fast when you say it like that…” sinenyasan ko si Nickan na humanda sa pagpasok. Hindi kami dapat magsayang ng oras, lalo pa’t hindi namin alam kung anong lagay ni Akemi. Narinig namin siyang nagsalita pa, “It’s just like how your brother makes my heart go wild… before… you killed him,” natigilan kami sa pagpasok.
“I’m sorry…”
“Sorry? Oh come on! That wouldn’t change the fact that you killed him!”
“I-it was an accident! I didn’t mean to—“
“Shut up! You killed the only man I loved, now I’m going to kill you!”
With that, sabay naming tinulak ni Nickan yung pintuan na kinagulat naman nila.
“Who the heck—ikaw na naman?” sigaw niya. Nalingunan ko si Euridice Diasnes na nakatali sa isang sulok. Sinenyasan ko si Nickan na pakawalan ito. Hinarap ko naman si Avril Villegas.
“Stop this Avril. Ahh no scratch that! You’re not Avril. You’re Gaille Regina Stynch, right? Ex-girlfriend of Daryl Lamperouge.”
“So what?”
“Walang kasalanan si Akemi. She’s not the one who killed her brother.”
“Anong hindi? Siya yun! She killed him! She’s the reason why I’m all alone now! I won’t forgive her!”
“Euridice… ah no, Akemi Lamperouge, what time is it when you stabbed your brother?”
“Huh? Ahmm… I think it was at 2am. But I swear it was an accident! I don’t know that it was my brother!”
