"Just take the shot!" It was screamed in your ear but you didn't flinch. The yelling was something you had gotten used to over the years.
You stared at the red head before you, but neither of you made the move to pull the trigger to the guns. You knew her. It may have been fifteen years since you last saw her and they may have tried to make you forget, but you couldn't. You weren't sure how you knew her, but you did.
"JUST TAKE IT!"
This time your eye twitched and your left ear rang. You swallowed hard and pulled the trigger to the hand gun. Her eyes widen as she stumbled back and grabbed at her chest. You trusted your shot so you turned and ran back to the reinforcement line.
"You did good (Y/n)." The commander greeted you. "You've made us proud today." He said looking at the screen of the woman laying on the ground. "Continue on with your sniper." He said and you nodded once. "Hail Hydra." He said as you started to walk away.
"Hail Hydra." You replied more quietly.

"I just don't understand." Steve shook his head as he pushed off the wall. "At a range that close she would have killed you." He said pacing in front of Natasha's medical bed.
"If she wanted me dead." Natasha looked between Steve and Clint, who sat beside her. "I would be dead." She was quiet for a moment as the both stared at her. "I knew who it was, and clearly she had to remember me." She said.
"I don't understand." Steve frowned.
"Clint." The two friends looked at each other. "It was (Y/n)."
"Are you sure?" There was hope in his voice but it was obvious in his eyes he was afraid to believe it.
"I'm positive." Natasha nodded.
~~~
You splashed water on your face and ran your wet hands through your hair. It had been a few days and you still couldn't remember how you knew that woman, but you were trying with all your might.
'My name is (Y/n). My dad is...' You frowned and closed your eyes. It was getting harder to remember over the years. 'My dad is..' Your heart started pounding in your chest from fear of forgetting. You looked down at your hands gripping the edge of the sink. 'My dad is Clint.' You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and let go of the sink to turn the water off.
There was a pounding at the door. "We've got company and Commander wants you in the nest." Someone shouted in.
"Understood." You called out and dried your hands off. You looked in the mirror and took a deep breath to stop your hands from shaking. You quickly grabbed your gear and threw your hair up in a pony tail before shouldering the sniper rifle. You made your way down the street and past the fleeing people. Behind you gunshots and shouts echoed up the street. 'Shield really has no thought of citizens do they?' You thought as you pulled yourself onto the roof of the clock tower.
From here you could see just about every street in the small town. You pulled the skull bandana up to cover your mouth and nose to prevent the wind from getting sand to you. You settled into the little nook on the back side of the clock and watched things unfold through the scope. You took every shot you could get and missed none. You focused on something red and your heart sank a little knowing that if Iron Man were here, then the rest of the Avengers likely followed.
Your focus was pulled off him when you heard the door to the roof creak slightly and stop short. You stayed where you were and relied on hearing to tell what was happening behind you. You waited until every nerve in your body screamed for you to fight to actually do it. In a swift movement you pulled a knife and leapt up slashing it as you spun to face the agent.
