A Royal Love: Royal Problems

Chapter one

-Lyla' POV-

I walk through the corridors of the castle, trying to avoid all the guards. Ever since what happened, mom decided to hire more guards in and around the castle. They won't be able to protect us when He returns, nobody will. That's why we need to find him, before he finds us. When we find him, we kill him. It's as easy as that.

I enter one of the meeting rooms and smile when I see my siblings and my cousin, Connor. "Good, you're here." I say to them which makes them look at me. "We're ready to leave when you are." Shane, my brother, says to me. "Just, remember your promise. When everybody finds out, I have nothing to do with it." Connor says to us. "Don't worry, I talked to mom." I say to him which makes him and my siblings look surprised at me. "You told mom?" Shayna, my sister asks. "Yes I did, she told me that she approves of our mission." "She does?" Kiana, my eldest sister asks. "Yes she does, she looked at me and told me to find Him and kill Him." "This is so messed up." Kiana says while shaking her head. "Teleport us." I say to Connor. "Close your eyes." He says while he changes in his powerful form. A bright light appears and surrounds us. We hear Connor say 'Good Luck', but none of us replies. When the light disappears, we are on a roof.

"So, this is what Earth looks like?" Shayna asks while she looks down at the Earthlings. "It doesn't look that special." Shayna says after a while. "Looks can deceive." Shane says as he looks at her. "Be quiet and observe." I say to them which makes them look back at the Earthlings. "What is the plan?" Shane asks me. "That's easy, we need to make a good first impression." I answer, still looking down. "And how do we do that?" Shayna asks as she, Shane and Kiana look at me. "Use your brain!" I say to her angrily and look at her. "We kill a few of them and they'll be on their knees for us." I say to them. "Kill them? We can't just kill random Earthlings!" Kiana says to me. "That's why I needed Shane." I say to her annoyed. "Me?" Shane asks as he points to himself. "Yes you, use your power to see who deserves to be killed and we'll kill them." I say to him. He doesn't reply and changes in his powerful form. "You should know by now that I never do anything without any reason behind it." I say to them and look back down at the Earthlings.

"I found someone." Shane says after a while which makes us look at him. "A young man, he's unfaithful." He says while pointing to the man. I look at Kiana. "Go get him, don't kill him yet. Just take him to that statue." I say at her and point at the statue. She nods, change in her powerful form and teleports away.

"I found another one. A woman." Shane says to us shortly after Kiana left. I look at Shayna. "Go." She changes in her powerful form and teleports away. "She doesn't even know where to go!" I say annoyed. "She does, she has read my mind." Shane replies. "You two are so weird..." I say to him and look back down.

"Another woman." Shane says after a while. "Where?" I ask him." "Right there, next to the big tree. She's the one who's on the phone." "Alright, I'll go get her. Look for one more for yourself and come to the statue afterwards." I say to him and teleport away.

-Kiana's POV-

I teleport to the man and walk to him. "Hello." I say to him. He turns around and looks surprised to see me. I look him in the eyes and smile when his iris turns black. "Follow me." I say to him and walk toward the statue. The Earthlings I pass all look at me like I'm some sort of alien. Well, in their eyes I am, so I can't really blame them. But that doesn't mean that it's okay, starring is rude.

When we're at the statue, I look around but don't see my siblings. "Looks, like I'm too fast for them." I say and look at the man. "Good thing that I have you to entertain me." He smiles very wide when I say this and looks excited at me. "Do something that will embarrass you." I say to him. He looks at me confused. "Do the Chicken Dance!" A little girl yells excited. I look at her. "The Chicken Dance?" I ask which makes her nod. I look back at the man. "You heard her, do the Chicken Dance." He response by doing some weird dance which makes the little girl laugh.

"What is he doing?" Shayna asks while she walks to me. "I don't know, but it certainly looks weird." I answer and look at her. "So, what did she do?" I ask while I look at her victim. "I don't know, I just know that she did something bad." She answers. "You trust our brother way too much." I say to her. "Just like I trust her, that's what siblings are supposed to do." Shane says as he walks to us. "Yeah, but we're not that normal." I say to him. "Nobody can blame us, besides, being normal is boring." He says to which Shayna nods.

"Good, you're here." We hear Lyla say and look at her. "Now that we're all here, let's-" She starts, but stops when she sees the man dance. "What is he doing?" She asks looking at him. "The Chicken Dance." I answer. "I'm not even going to ask. Just... Let him stop." She says to me. "Stop dancing." I say as I look at the man. He stops immediately and looks at me.

"Good, now stand in front of your victim." Lyla says to us. "And release them from your spell." She continues. I look at the man and see his iris change back in its normal colour. I look at the victim of Shayna and see that she takes her hands of her ears, wondering why she isn't hearing the extremely loud noise anymore. Afterwards, I look at Shane's victim and see that he blinks a few times, finally being able to see again.

"People of the Earth." Lyla says loud enough for everyone to hear. "As some of you might already have guessed, we're not from this planet. We're here on a mission and we won't give up or leave this planet until our mission is completed!" She yells to the Earthlings which makes them look worried and the parents take their children close to them. "Don't try to do anything stupid, believe me you'll regret it. We're not here to make friends." Lyla yells to them and looks at us afterwards. "Let's do it." She says to us which makes us all look at our victims. They all start to yell and after a few seconds, they become green and eventually fall on the floor. Dead. "See their deaths as a warning." Lyla says to the Earthlings which makes them all look afraid.

"Now, that you know what we'll with you if you don't cooperate, answer my question. Where can we find someone named 'Jack'?" Lyla says to the crowd.
