-Nathan's POV-
I'm standing on the stage and I'm alone. I like being here alone, it's quiet and I can think here. It's only been a week since Kiana left and I already miss her. Eddy tries to cheer me up but he doesn't really succeed. We'll leave in a few days for our tour but before we leave, I need to do something.
"Why did I need to come here?" I hear behind me, so I turn around to see Luke look at me. "I wanted to talk to you before I leave." I answer him. "Why?" He asks annoyed. "We haven't been probably introduced." I say to him. "So, I needed to come all the way to this place so you can introduce yourself?" He asks. "That's one of the reasons." "Kiana?" He asks me to which I nod.
"I don't want to talk about her." "I just want to know why you're so mad at her. I want to understand you." I say to him which makes him walk closer to me. "You don't want to understand me, you just want to be sure that she was telling you the truth." He says as he stops walking when he's just in front of the stage. "Then tell me. Tell me the truth." I say to him. He looks at me for a moment before walking towards the stairs.
"I may hate Kiana but that doesn't mean that I'm going to destroy her relationship." He says as he walks up the stairs. "You hate her? But you were best friends." I say to him as he walks towards me. "Wait... destroy her relationship? What happened between you two?" I ask him as he's in front of me.
"The only thing you need to know is that I don't want to see her anymore." He says to me. "But why?" I ask him but he just turns around and starts to walk away. "Are you mad because what happened to your family?" I ask him. He immediately turns around and creates a knife-like thing in ice to point at me. "What did she say to you!?" He yells as he walks closer to me. "Nothing!" I answer him afraid. "She just said that your mother and brother were murdered." I say to him. He changes in his powerful form as he's right in front of me again. "And do you know who did that?" He asks me. "She said that it was your father." I answer him, still afraid. "He didn't do it!" He yells at me. "I just tell you what she told me." "She doesn't know what she's talking about!" He yells at me. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't want to upset you!" "Well, you did!" "I'm sorry, I just want to understand why you're so mad at her." "And I don't want to talk about it." He says before turning around and walking away.
"Do you even have someone to talk to? Is there someone who listens to your problems? Someone who helps you?" I ask him. "Just leave me alone." "So that's a no. Keeping everything inside won't do you any good. It'll destroy you." I say to him which makes him stop walking and look at me again. "You don't know me." "I don't but I still want to help you." "Then leave me alone." He says to me. "Wait here." I say to him and go backstage.
When I return, I smile when he's still on the stage and in his normal form. "Catch." I say to him which makes him look at me and catch what I throw at him. "A microphone?" He asks me as he looks at me. "Yes, you're going to sing for me." I say to him as I smile wider. "Sing? Why would I do that?" He asks me confused. "Just do it, you'll feel much better afterwards." I say to him before walking to the piano. "And I won't judge you. No matter how bad you sing or what you sing. Whatever you sing, I won't tell." I say as I sit down. He looks at me for a moment before sighing deeply and bringing the microphone to his mouth.
"I have often dreamed, of a far-off place
Where a hero's welcome, would be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer, when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying, this is where I'm meant to be"He sings while I try to play the piano and listen to every word he sings.
"I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
I will find my way, if I can be strong
I know every mile, will be worth my while
When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong"He sings before slowly walking towards me.
"Down an unknown road, to embrace my fate
Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you
And a thousand years, would be worth the wait
It might take a lifetime, but somehow I'll see it through"He sings as he's next to the piano. I can't help but smile at him now I see how he sings the song. So much passion. It's amazing to see.
"And I won't look back, I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track, no, I won't accept defeat
It's an uphill slope, but I won't lose hope
Till I go the distance, and my journey is complete"My smile disappears when I see Eddy look at us from backstage. If Luke sees him, he'll freak. Or attack me with his ice knife.
"Like a shooting star, I can go the distance
I will search the world, I will face its' harms
I don't care how far, I can go the distance
Till I find my hero's welcome, waiting in your arms""That was Amazing!" I say as we finish the song. "I'm leaving." He says as he hands me the microphone. "Oh come on! Why can't you accept my compliment?" I say as I stand up and take the microphone. "You just say it to be nice." He says to me.
"Then believe me, you do sing good." Eddy says as he walks towards us. "Who are you?" Luke asks him as he looks at Eddy suspiciously. "You can call me 'Eddy', I'm the owner of this building and his manager." "Okay, good for you." Luke says to him. "But I'm still going." He says to us but before he starts walking I stop him. "If you wanted to leave so desperately, you would have left a long time ago." "I do want to leave, I just don't like the crowd."
"Crowd? What crowd?" I ask him confused. "Thanks to your girlfriend, the press follows me everywhere and the police follows me because they fear for the citizens." He says as he looks angry at me. "You know Kiana?" Eddy asks him confused. "Eddy, this is Luke. He was a childhood friend of Kiana but something happened between them and know he doesn't want to be near her." I say to Eddy. "That pretty much covers it." Luke says to Eddy. "See, I was listening." I say to him which makes him look at me.
"You just want to get close to me so you can make your girlfriend happy." He says to me. "No, I don't. Besides, Kiana left." "She's back to Solniana? Finally! Now I can have some peace!" Luke says to me. "Then I don't need this anymore." He says as he takes out his ice knife. "But I'll still have to teleport to my house so nobody will know where I live." He says as he changes in his powerful form.
"Then go with us." Eddy says to him, which makes him but also me look confused at Eddy. "Go with you? Are you leaving?" Luke asks Eddy. "I'm going on tour." I answer before Eddy can. "And why would I even think about going with strangers to places I don't know?" Luke asks us. "So you can have some peace." Eddy answers him. "I-I..." He starts but stops himself. He probably isn't used to people being this concerned for him. "Why are you even asking me to come with you?" He asks us. "Because we know what it is like to be followed. Kiana is my girlfriend, everyone knows that. So, we know how frustrating it can be." I say to him. "But we know that the press can't come in here and the police know that they can trust us." Eddy continues. "If you come with us, you won't be bothered by them." I say to him which makes him look down. Okay, so he really isn't used to have people concerned for him.
"So, what do you say? Are you coming with us?" I ask him. He changes back to his normal form and looks at us. "Okay, I'll come along."
