-Lyla's POV-

I was taking a nap when a noise woke me. I immediately sit up and look down -I was taking a nap in a tree-. I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Weird. I jump out of the tree and look around me. Nothing. Just when I was about to go back in the tree, I hear a twig break. I turn around, but see nothing.

Suddenly a man walks through the bushes and looks at me surprised. "Oh, did I wake you?" He asks as he walks closer to me. "Uh yes. You knew that I was sleeping in that tree?" I say to him. "I'm sorry that I woke you and yes, I saw you when I looked at the tree." He answers. "If you knew that I was asleep, then why didn't you attack me?" "Why would I do that?" He asks me confused. "Why wouldn't you? You could have easily killed me." I answer him. "Killed you?" He asks surprised. "I don't kill people." "So, you just wait until they kill you?" I ask while crossing my arms. "Kill me? What are you talking about? Why would I kill somebody and why would they kill me?" He asks sounding confused. "To protect yourself. You can't trust anybody. Only yourself."

"You trust nobody?" He asks to which I respond my nodding. "Isn't that very lonely?" "I like being alone." "I do too, but that doesn't mean that I have trust issues." "You would if you were me." I say to him. "What do you mean? What happened?" He asks sounding concerned. "Why do you care? You don't know me." "I care because I don't like seeing people sad." "You can't be happy all the time." "That's true, but when was the last time you were happy?" He asks which makes me look down. "That long ago? A couple of weeks? Months?" He asks me while I turn around. "Years?" I hear him ask, but I don't answer. It's quiet for a while.

"It's not-" I start as I turn around, but stop when I see him standing right in front of me. "Wha-What are you doing!?" I ask as I take a few steps back. "I just wanted to look at you." He answers calmly. "Look at me?" "Yes, I wanted to see why people fear you. I don't see why anyone would fear you." "I can show you immediately. If you dare to come any closer." He smiles and takes a few steps back. "Sorry, I forgot how afraid you are of people touching you." "I'm not afraid! You just don't touch me or come way too close." I answer angrily. He stops smiling and doesn't reply.

It's quiet again until he speaks. "What do you look like when you're not in your powerful from?" "And again, why do you care?" I ask him to which he smiles again. "I'm just curious. My father told me that you look like someone from Earth when you're in your normal form." "I'm not going to tell you. I don't even know you!"

He smiles even bigger. "That's true. You may call me 'Alex'." "I may call you that? Is it your nickname?" "Yes, that's how my friends call me." "I'm not your friend." "Not yet." He answers. "I'm leaving." I say to him as I turn around to walk away. "You still haven't told me your name." He says to me which makes me look at him. "I told you my name, now you have to tell me yours." "How do you-" "My father told me that in Solniana when you say your name the person who you told has to say his or her name." "How does your father know that?" "Why do you care?" He asks with a smirk on his face. I roll with my eyes, turn around and start to walk away.

I hear him run towards me and I stop walking when he stands in front of me. "What do you want?" I ask him annoyed. "Just tell me your name and I'll leave you alone." "It's Lyla." I answer while taking a deep breath. "My name is Lyla." "See, that wasn't that bad." He says smiling. "It was nice meeting you Lyla, but I need to go."

"Go?" I ask him confused. "Yeah, I need to go. I have an appointment." "An appointment? When?" I ask him curious. "Half an hour ago." He says when he looks at his watch. "Then why were you this long here with me?" "Like I said, I wanted to know why people are afraid of you. And I wanted to know your name." "And before that? We haven't been talking that long." I say while I cross my arms. "I was waiting a bit in hope you would wake up." "And you were sick of waiting and just woke me?" "I didn't do that on purpose." "Of course, you didn't." He doesn't reply and just smiles.

"I'll see you later, Lyla." He says as he starts to walk away. "Why do you think that we'll meet again?" I ask him. He stops walking and looks at me with a smile. "I just hope we will." He says and walks away.
