Chapter eleven

-Kiana's POV-

I walk through the streets and look around me. It's been a quarter of an hour and I still haven't seen Shane. Or he hasn't seen me, that means that he's far away from me. I stop walking and look around. "Where am I?" I ask myself out loud. "You're nearby the royal palace." Someone answers my question which makes me look at him. "You again." I say to Jack while I cross my arms.

"It's good to see you too but where are your siblings?" "I don't know." "Aren't you supposed to be always together?" "No, we're not that much together. Well, the twins are." "Twins?" "My brother and one of my sisters." "Right. And you? And your other sister?" "My youngest sister, is often alone." "That sounds lonely, why is she alone?" "I don't know." "Why don't you go to her when she's alone?" "Because she's horrible to be with." "Horrible?" "Yes, so I and everyone else leave her alone. Except for mom." "Ella?" "Yes." "How is she? Can you tell me?" "Listen Jack, we just came to this planet to find our father, not to tell everyone our life story." I say as I turn around to walk around.

"What about you?" He asks me. "Me? What do you mean?" I ask him as I look at him. "You said that your heir is always alone and that your twin siblings are always together. So, what about you?" "I spend most of my time with my best friend." "And your best friend isn't a sibling of you?" "No." "Who is-" He starts but stops when a bright light appears. When it disappears, Shane stands next to us.

"I told you I would find you." He says as he looks at me. "Yes, you did." I say to him. "All right, let's start searching." He says to me. "Searching? What are you looking for?" Jack asks us. "That's none of your businesses." Shane says to him and looks at me afterwards. "Come on, we need to find her." He says as he starts walking. "Who are you searching? I can help you." Jack says to me. "No, don't help." I say to him before following Shane.

-Shayna's POV-

"Shayna, Can you come here?" Mike asks me from downstairs. I stand up -I was lying in my bed- and walk towards the stairs. When I go down the stairs, I hear Mike talk to someone. As I enter the living room, Mike and another man look at me. "Shayna, this is my brother, John." Mike says to me as he points at his brother. "Hello." I say to John and look at Mike. "Is that why I needed to come?" "No, it isn't." He answers and looks at his brother. "I have something for you." John says to me and hands over a bag. I look at the bag, then at John. "What is it?" "You'll only know when you look in it." He answers smiling. I take the bag and look in it. "Clothes, so you don't have to be dressed like that anymore." Mike says to me. "I didn't know your clothing size, so I hope they fit." John says to me. "Thanks." I say to them which makes them both smile. "I'm going to try them on." I say to them and walk out of the room.

"Mom was right, she is pretty. You have a pretty girlfriend." I hear John say to Mike. I stop walking and keep listening. "She's not my girlfriend." Mike answers. "Okay, your one nightstand." "She isn't that either." "Sure." "Why can't you just believe me?" Mike asks him annoyed. "Because, there's a pretty woman in your house wearing nothing more than your t-shirt." "She just spent the night. In the guestroom." "If you say so..." John says to him.

I walk towards the stairs and go upstairs. Once I'm in the guestroom, I take of the t-shirt I'm wearing. I open the bag and take a dress out of it. A short red dress. I like it. I put it on and look at myself in the mirror. Okay, I love it. I walk back to the bag and take a black blazer out of it. After putting it on and smiling at myself in the mirror, I walk back to the back. "Heels, there are only heels in here. How am I supposed to be able to defence myself in heels?" I say to myself and take a pair of black heels out of the bag and put them on. "Okay, they are gorgeous." I say to myself. "And I'm not even going to ask them how they picked the right clothing size and shoe size." I say to myself as I leave the room and walk downstairs.
