Chapter three

When Jack took us to Ryan's house, we were disappointed to see that he wasn't there. It would have been too easy if he was there, but then we would be back home and not on this planet anymore.

"So, what do we do know?" Shane asks me which makes me look at him. "I don't know." "Let's walk around the city, that way we can observe the Earthlings and this planet." Kiana says to us. "I don't want to observe, it's boring." Shayna says sounding bored. "Not everything can be fun and exciting, little sis." Shane says while he messes up her hair. "Shane! My hair!" She says as she tries to get her hair good again which makes Shane laugh.

I roll my eyes and look at Kiana. "How are they two years older than me?" I ask her, but she doesn't reply. "Kiana? I'm talking to you." I say and move my hand up and down in front of her face. "I need to check something out, I'll see you later." She says and teleports away. "Okay... Bye." I say to now the air and look back at Shane and Shayna, who are now arguing.

"Give it back, Shayna!" Shane says angrily. "No, I don't want to." She answers with a playful smile. "You're not going to like what I'm going to do when you don't give it." He says to her to which she response with crossing her arms and sticking her tongue out. "You asked for it!" He says to her and starts tickling her which makes her to laugh -very loudly, I must say- and fall on the ground with him.

I turn around and start to walk away. I don't want to be seen with those two when they are being 'to close'. They really are way to close, but hey I don't mind as long as I'm not near them. They just make me uncomfortable.

-Kiana's POV-

After teleporting away from Lyla, I followed this man. When I saw him, I knew that I saw him before. I saw him when we 'made our first impression'. He was there with his lover, but now I see him with another woman. If there is one thing that I absolutely hate, then it's being unfaithful. I need to save these poor women.

I wait for their date to end and once he's alone, I teleport to him. He turns around and looks surprised when he sees me. "Hey, what's your name?" I ask smiling sweetly while I use my power to make him see me differently. "I'm Wayne, what's your name?" He asks smiling. "Avery." I answer, still smiling. "I was just going to the city, would you like to accompany me?" I ask him. "I would love that, but I can't. I'm going to my friends." He answers. "Oh, that's alright. I'll just go on my own then." I say sounding sad and start to walk away. "Wait!" He says to me. I stop walking, but don't look at him. "Would you like to go with me to my friends?" He asks which makes me smile. I turn around, looking serious at him. "Oh no, I don't want to ruin your night." He walks towards me. "You won't ruin it, you would make it better." "Well, if you say so." I say with an innocent smile which makes him smile.

Once we're in the city, I follow him to his friends. When they see me, they all look afraid. "Guys, this is Avery. She'll spend the night with us, I hope you don't mind." Wayne says to them which makes them look at him astonished. "Are you serious!?" One of them asks him. "Yes, why wouldn't I?" Wayne answers confused. "Wayne?" I ask sweetly which makes him look at me with a smile. "Yes?" "Can you go get me a drink?" I ask him. "Can't you wait for a bit? We're going to-" He starts, but stops when I use my power on him. "Of course, I'll be right back." He says after a while and walks away. When he's far enough for him not to hear me, I look at his friends with an evil smile.

"So, you're his friends? Interesting." "What did you do to him?" One of them asks angrily. "I haven't done anything. I just walked up to him and talked to him." I answer him. "Here is your drink. I didn't know what you wanted, so I just brought you a cocktail." Wayne says as he walks to me and hands me the cocktail. "Thank you." I answer as I take the cocktail. I look at it and give it to one of his friends. "Can you hold this for a moment?" I ask as he takes it.

"You've been a naughty boy, do you know that?" I ask Wayne to which he response by looking confused. "You're unfaithful, I absolutely hate man like you." I say to him as I walk closer to him. "Huh?" He says still confused.

I take my knife -which I have always with me- and give it to him. He takes the knife and looks at it, still confused. "I don't get it? What do you want me to do?" He asks looking back at me. "You know what you need to do." I say to him as I use my power to control him. "Yes, I do." He says and looks back at the knife. He puts the knife in front of his throat and waits for my order.

"What are you doing!?" One of his friends asks. "Put that away!" Another one yells. They walk closer to him, but stop when I create a shield around me and Wayne. "Please, don't do this! He can change!" A friend of him yells to me. "If he could change, then I wouldn't be here." I answer him and look back at Wayne. "Do it." I say to him to which his friend start yelling 'No', but they couldn't do anything. It's too late for him.

I look at him, now lying on the ground with his throat bleeding and wait until I don't see his chest move anymore. I walk to him and kneel next to him. I take my knife and clean it with his shirt. Once it's clean enough, I put it in front of his nose. He isn't breathing, good. I stand up and put my knife back on my belt.

"You monster!" I hear one of Wayne's friends yell at me which makes me look at him. "That's what you say." I say to him while I walk to them. I walk through the shield to the man who is still holding my cocktail. I take it out of his hands and start walking away while I remove the shield. I hear people run to Wayne as I start drinking the cocktail. "This is good, I like it." I say to myself as I continue walking away without looking back.
