It had been almost a week since Mea and I had our fight. Now it was like I was just living that their house. Jack always had a good sense of things since then. He kept me sane when I was at the house. Since then, Mea rarely let me out of the house. The only time I could go out was at night. Everything was done at night. And it slowly was killing me.

This week Mea wasn't putting up with anyone's bullshit. This week was finals week. Almost every single class I had a stupid final. And I saw no point in taking these, I already took all of these in Pearl. More accurately, I was homeschooled while moving around then took them. Every time I tried to explain Mea would shoot me down and told me I had to take them because it's fair to everyone else. It was like Mea knew what I was hiding and wanting me to come clean. If she knew what I was it put my whole everyone I knew In danger. I couldn't risk it.

Today was full of exams and I'm glad to get them done and over with. Once the bell rang our Teacher Mr. Hachet closed the door. His Teacher aid passed out the exam.

" begin"

I looked at the clock I had already finished. So I decided to take a nap, almost 30 minutes into my nap. I could feel small shocks coming from my chair. When I looked down my attention went to the walls. For a small moment, my eye's turned white and the channel of the electricity showed up in my vision. Someone was messing around with the electric grid. Not to make matters worse it had started to rain. After another long-lived moment, the power went out. Almost every single head shot up.

"I'm sure that it was just a blown fuse" Jack whispered in my ear. " isn't the first time it's happened"

I looked outside again it was raining harder, the streets began to flood with water.

" It's not the blown fuse I'm worried about"

Everything seemed to have slowed down. I looked at Mr. Hachet when he touched the steel railing. I felt what was going to hit him and it slowed everything down. It had thrown him across the room. His body sliding and tipping the empty desks as he went. Everyone surrounded him, trying to get the tangle of desks off of him.

" Is he dead?" Damien asked worriedly.

I went up and checked for a pulse. let out a breath There was one but it was faint.

" He's alive just out cold," I said

" What do we do?" another student asked. I looked out the window and I took notice to the black uniforms and the vans parked out front.

" Wait here" I walked the halls everything was dark. Even though there were other classes in session it sounded like there was nothing here. Too quiet. I walked back to the classroom and locked the door.

" everything is down"

" shouldn't we call the police?" Jack asked

" how can I when the building is blocking my cell service"

" I don't know; figure it out"

I rolled my eye's at him. I started digging through my bag and put the small communicator in my ear.

" What's wrong?" Alex asked

" The power is out and Black uniforms. You tell me"

Jack and Damien looked at me with a weird look.

Alex seemed to be holding his breath then started talking to the Team at the office " Can you hold them off until we get there and get Dante too"

" Yeah, but if they have guns you know what I'm going to have to do"
