Location: the clock tower

Time: 2:45pm

After school, all of us met up where usually parked, around rich kid central. This particular day Jess wasn't having it. She kept glaring at us and from it looked at Lexi with some Pitty. Lexi Just looked wide-eyed as I took the cover off my motorcycle. The sun glared off the light purple metallic paint, The glass the did not good from keeping bugs from my helmet.

"were riding this?" She pointed at the bike as I shoved the cover into my backpack.

" yeah"

" What about a helmet?"

" here" I threw my only helmet at her and Lexi gave me a blank look.

"What about you?"

" I don't need one"

I smiled as the engine roared to life as I got on and patted the seat for Lexi to sit behind me. I reached behind me and pulled the strap on her helmet to make sure it was tight enough. Her hands squeezed around my waist almost as she was trying to cut my air supply off.

" aw, Lexi you scared?' Jess called from the jeep

She didn't say anything

" I'd take that as a yes" they laughed

" Hold on"

I Backed out the bike as I was going to drive away but instead, I switched gears and spun the back tire at an angle, making a skid mark on the pavement. I could feel Lexi's grip getting tighter and to make it better I put the gas on and the front tire came off as we pulled out.

" see not so bad" I yelled to her

When we got to the clock tower Dante had tackled me down onto the floor, holding my arm above as he would break it.

" what the hell?!"

" nothing"

'" then let go"

Finally, when he did let go of my arm, I stood up and punched him. " asshat"

"let's go a couple of rounds"

I shrugged " fine you overgrown toddler"

I finally was able was able to get Dante down on the Mat. He put his hands up in surrender after his 6th time being pinned down. I had my hands around his neck as if I was going to squeeze the life out f him. I froze as everything changed I saw the man that ruined my life under me my hands around his neck. I couldn't help but squeeze that neck of hers. I felt one of her hands grab my leg but I pinned it down with my foot.

" lryia-.Lryia" a voice called out. My body was able to snap out of my trance. I realized that Lexi had her hands on my shoulder blades. My arm glowed with the marks on it then faded away. My vision began to clear up and I realized I was killing Dante. I instantly got off and staggered back. I looked down at my hands.

" I'm sorry-" my mouth could barely make the words out.

" lryia wait" Lexi called out.

I slammed the door behind me and slid down it. It took a minute to comprehend what I had just done, I could have killed Dante. How could I have I looked around the room, my eyes shot to the clock almost 6. We had to get ready for Jessies thing and at this point, I didn't want to go. All I wanted to do was open the window and smoke this veggie cigarette, One of Alex's men makes.

White smoke came from my mouth and the taste of veggie extract. I shut everything out and just got lost in my own thoughts. I wasn't paying attention when Dante basically broke down the door to get in here. He wrapped his hands around me and that's when I noticed he was here.

" you ok?" he asked,

" not really-" 

" don't be too hard on your self lryia something must have triggered a memory"
