I hacked into every government computer that had intel on jay. I knew that he wasn't trust worthy or a good person. Everytime got something new on jay i'd send the whole file to Alex back in pearl. Ever since the alpha team left crime rate went up heavily but most the police could manage but we helped here and there.

I was staying​ my house more for jacks sake. We had no news weather she'd be able to walk anytime soon.

I scrolled down on one of my computers on a file on my mom. Her criminal records are locked. It took a few minutes to hack into it, this​ list of charges was really long. After the blackburn industries got stared up, all of the charges where dropped. Soon a link led me to a set of blue prints, of a bomb that had twice the power from helium​ bomb.

" what are you planning?" I said to my self.

I found the map and the plans to bomb the whole city and even more. Pearl was big by it self 200 mile city with 7 different districts. After finding out what the plan was, it led me to a group or court that controlled the city. This group has had control of the city since the founding. I also got my hands on the members here in Aora.
Then I realized something that man from pearl, the one who tried to kill jay. they both had the same tattoo on there right​ shoulder.

" god I knew it, this group is bigger then we thought"
" what group?" i jumped out of my chair and looked at my door way. it was just jack.
" just homework​"
jack raised an eyebrow " right"
" hey after im done will go visit​ Mea...okay"
" alright" alex shut my door and i went back to my search​. An private link showed up on my screen, Alex.

"hey Alex how is pearl?" i asked
" quiet but not so much anymore "
" you read you know what"
" Ya I did...." Alex looked down
" Im sorry alex "
" It' s fine we have other things to take care of"
" okay look if you every need anything just give me a call okay"
" don't worry I will....... Wait hows mea?" Alex asked
" her condition changed while you been gone " I looked down
" to what?"
" doctors aren't sure yet" Lryia said
" okay, well i should get going now. Tell lexi And sean I said hi"
" I will" I was about to turn the link off when Alex said something.
" hey stay safe okay"
" you as well"

Alex shut down the link and my screen went black. I saved everything on a hed drive and hid it in my closet. I hurried and changed out of my school uniform and into jeans, black boots, and a simple tank top. I walked down the stairs to get jack.
He held on tight as we pulled on too the highway. When we pulled up, jack basically ran into the hospital. I ran to catch up to him before the elevator​ closed.
" dude don't do that again" I said leaning on the bar.
" sorry, i've been on the edge ever since that lighting girl saved my mom"
" i'm​ sorry i missed it" I looked down at my hand
" im just glad your okay" jack smiled

We walked in too Mea's room the lights where off. There sat Mea in a wheel chair looking outside. She turned her chair towards us and smiled.
" oh hello"
" hey Mea, how are you feeling?" I asked
" better then what i have been"
" that's good"
" when are You coming home?" jack asked
" hopefully in a few weeks or days"

We bagan watching Princess bride
on her Tv. I looked at the door the doctor, I left half sleeping jack On the couch And went out in the hall.
" so I have some news"
" what is it?" i asked
" Mea has a good chance of walking again"
I took A breath of relief " how long?"
" 8 months, maybe less"
" so physical​ therapy?"
" ya for now have her do yoga and simple stretches" the doctor said.
" thank you"
" no problem"

After the movie ended, I woke up jack so we could leave. We said our good byes to Mea and left. Jack pushed the button down to the garage.

We got back on the highway. It Was quiet, no one trying to blow anything up. I noticed that the same car was following us.
" Hold On" i said before taking the speed up.
" what!"

I zoomed up to 90 on the highway, heading towards the tower. Jack looked back behind us the car was Right behind.
" lryia" jack said
" I know"
" why we pass our exit?"
" just wait"

I pulled off the highway and going towards the tower. We finally lost The car before going under ground. Jack looked at me like i was crazy, but​ that car.
" where are we!?" Jack Asked
" dont get off!"
" why?"
" shh"
" okay he's gone"
" what's going on?"
" im taking you home"

Jack locked the door when he walked inside. I looked at the house before driving off, shifting into lighting and heading into a field.

A Women came out of her car along with a younger girl.
" lighting" the lady said
" black burn"
" you find what i needed?"
" yes i did" she handed me a metal case and in return i gave her a container of my fathers ashes.
" thank you"

I put the case in my closet and shut the door. I sat down looking at my test notes for finals. I stayed up to study for 2 finals. My computer screen light up and a channel with sean opened up.

" why aren't you in bed?" he asked
" im going over notes"
" for finals?"
" yeah..."
" well get to bed"
" fine"

I sat on my desk tapping my pencil on my desk. Jack looked at me then looked back down. Our sub handed out the final, gave out the instructions​ and let us have the time. I was half way through when my bracelet started to shock my wrists.

' oh no!' i thought

Heavy rain started pouring down on city taking out half it's power. I took my chance to run outside. I moved my fingers with the shape of my marks on my back. Lighting​ took me up into the sky, I was able to shift into Lighting.

Pearl came into View. A bright light shined in the room then went away. I saw Alex in the corner of my eye with his second heart torn out, and jay right in front of me. I couldn't help but smirk.
" miss me"
" how...!"
