In the Cullen house, even though the children of the house had quite literally had thousands of school mornings, every single one seemed to be hectic, this one included.Alice and Rosalie had invaded Carlisle's closet this morning which was an unexpected surprise, but the coven leader had come to accept the surprise that was Alice Cullen. She did as she pleased, no one was going to stop her, except her husband, maybe.
Rosalie, with a giddy smile on her face was a welcomed sight as of late. The older male would take a smiling Rosalie over an angry one anyday. What made him nervous was when his sister, Esmerelda, joined the closet club.
"Do I want to know what nefarious plan you three have come up with?" Carlisle asked the three women as they giggled in the closet, holding different ties and shirts up together. "This tie." Esme told the girls, ignoring her brother. "Ignore me, fine." Carlisle huffed, childlike. "Please Carlisle, being childish is not a good look on you." She tisked. "It's not like I will be the one wearing them." Carlisle sassed back and Esme rolled her eyes.
"This is what I saw." Alice cheered as she looked between the pressed white shirt and the pink tie combo and Carlisle's looming figure outside of the closet. "I'm already dressed." Carlisle complained and Esme shot him a look. "Just change already." Esme said, pressing the shirt and tie combo into Carlisle's chest, walking out of the room. Looking at his daughters with pleading eyes, "Do I have to?" He asked. "It's just a shirt Carlisle." Rosalie said with a smile as she too walked out of the room. "Alice?" "Yes, Carlisle. You have to. It's symbolic." "To what?" He asked. "Just put on the shirt!" Alice yelled speeding out of the room, to her own to get ready for the day.
Changing into the new wardrobe, Carlisle heard the children make their way down stairs, close to leaving. He usually left before them. Looking down at his watch he sighed, he was going to be late. "Carlisle, you better get a move on." Esme chassied from down stairs.
Seeing the children out, she noticed her brother rushing down the stairs. "There you are." "Esme, have I ever told you that you sound like mother?" Carlisle asked. "All the time. If I didn't, nothing would get done around here." Esme laughed sweetly, a twinkle in her eyes from being compared to their mother.
Alice rushed in, fixing Carlisle's tie quickly. "Can you tell me anymore about the significance of the tie?" Carlisle asked his daughter. Alice huffed. "At work today there is a girl, she will have the same color on. She is important, so in other words don't blow it. She has family that will be of importance to us as well, especially a younger girl, not a daughter, a niece maybe? If you want to bring up conversation, maybe bring up children. They show up together in many of my visions. Her outfit is a good topic as well, just remember to say that you have a gluten allergy. There is also a thermos of blood in your pack. If she asks, say it's soup." Alice rushed out.
Carlisle blew out an unneeded breath he didn't realize he was holding. "No pressure." He said mainly to himself but of course the two women in his presence heard. "That's the spirit!" Alice said cheerfully.
"Not even a hint?" Carlisle asked the spiky haired girl and she smiled mischievously. "If I had a clue to give, I would dangle it just out of reach." "Thanks." Carlisle sarcastically said as the two women laughed. "Spoilers are no fun. You were always one for mysteries, Carlisle." Esme smiled at her brother teasingly.
"Darlin, leave him alone would you." Jasper asked as he came down the stairs, wrapping his arm around the pixies waist. "At least Jasper's on my side." Carlisle said with a smile. "I am on no side Carlisle. I have been in too many war zones to start one with my wife." He said. "To start one- that means you should side with him!" Alice eyed her husband, Jasper grinned. "I plead the fifth, come on darlin." Jasper led the feisty girl out to the car.
