Bella's POV
"She was, I wasn't going to go into this, but.. My ex 's name is Natalie. And she's the very first person I ever loved. We were together for three years. But when she decided to go to another college, she dumped me on the spot." Ezra admitted.
"That's so harsh." Kylie states in shocked.
"To be honest... I'm still not over her. And it'll probably a while before I am. That's why I promised myself that I'm just going to have fun here. No serious relationship."Ezra adds.
"Huh! That's idiotic. How can you make such a stupid rule." I commented loudly.
"What if you missed out on the love of your life because you don't want to get 'serious'?" Kylie curiously asked.
"Well... I kind of assume the love of my life would be willing to wait for me, until I figure things out." Ezra answered in sincerity.
"You just keep telling yourself that." Gwen said to Ezra, not believing what he just said.,
"Listen, enough about me. Can I ask Bella a question in return?"Ezra changing the topic and putting the spot light on me.
"What do the rules say, Gwen?" I mildly asked Gwen.
"So far it seems like the rules are whatever Gwen wants them to be." Kylie answered my question for Gwen.
"Ask away Ezra!"Gwen agrees.
"Okay Bella, what's your take on love."Ezra asked.
"My take on love? I'm open to love, but I'm not desperate." I answered without even batting an eyelash.
"Seems wise. Best to just let it happen."Ezra agrees with Bella
"Exactly." Bella said in surprise that Ezra actually agrees with her.
A few rounds of drinks and questions later. Bella looks out her phone and check the time.
"Well, I've hit my quota of embarrassment for the night, so I think I'm gonna turn in guys." I said standing up.
"What? It's still early." Kylie said pleading with her puffy eyes on full display.
When Ali checked his watch, he look shocked on the time. " It's two in the morning." He said a bit louder in disbelief.
"Exactly!" Kylie said looking at Ali."It's just two in the morning." Kylie stands up and steps back and forth balancing her ground. She's swaying. She's clearly drunk.
"Whoa! Easy!" Ezra went straight to Kylie's side to get a hold of her.
'How sweet!' I think to myself.
"Honestly... I am a little tired." Kylie admits looking at everyone with her shy smile. "But I just want to say this is the most fun I've ever had."
"Me too! I had fun!"Shane smiles back
" Same here." Liam said raising his right hand.
