Ezra POV

I'm walking down a bustling street on my way to my office.

"There is not enough caffeine in the world for me right now."I finish my energy drink before tossing the empty can into a bin.

My Business partner Dean, looks up from his phone.

"You alright? You've been acting weird all Morning."

"I... didn't sleep well last night. I've got a lot on my mind."I said my mind is wondering around to what Bella did last night. I don't think she even remembers calling out to me and kissing me. Before she passed out.

It's a good thing that when her friends drop her off, I'm still in the lobby. I catch her in time before she falls through the ground. I carried her up to her hotel suite. I initiated changing her clothes, so she could sleep comfortably. I gathered all the strength to control myself from staying with her that night.

"Wait...Is this because your college friend is back in town? She's staying at one of your hotel, right? She's the one who got away? The reason you don't date." Dean ask in confirmation.

"She's not the one who got away." 'She's technically still married with me.'I said to myself.

"Riiight. You only talk about her all the time. And not in the 'have you seen the latest episode of The Walking Dead' way. But in the 'Dear Diary, I love her sooooo much' kinda way."Dean said teasing me.

I pretend not to care."I can't help it if we were close. We have good times together."

"How 'good' were these good times? Like sock-on-the-doorknob good?"

"On the doorknob, on the shower handle, on the kitchen table, in the living room."

"Wait... Are you joking?"

"Yes, I'm joking! Come on, Dean."

"I don't know, maybe you were adventurous before we met."

"Fine. You wanna know the truth? The real, one hundred percent truth?" I lean towards Dean, and he leans forward to met me."The truth is... " I said in a whisper, narrowing my eyes to him. "Go to hell, Dean!"

"Aw, come on. I thought we were having a bonding moment!."He jokes.

"You're the worst."I said shaking my head.

"Love you too, Partner."He teases me. "Anyway, you should call her up. Invite her for a drink."Dean suggested.

"Actually, we have a get together later. I dunno, if I could come. I have that work thing tonight."I answered.

"Whatever you say, man. But she's probably wondering about you as we speak."

I'm hoping Dean's right. Because, I can't take my mind off Bella anymore. Especially now that she's beyond my reach. It's been hard not seeing her face to face all this years. I just got contented seeing her from afar. I want to give her time, to grow, to mature, to be the one to find me and finally talk to me about 'our relationship'. I want her to be the one to tell me that It's time to tell the world that we are married. But that did not happened. I'm still routing for it to happen. Keeping my hopes high.
++++++++++

I've been walking back and forth through my office, looking at my watch non stop. Thinking if  I should go and met her. I cursed myself.

'Fuck it! I'm going to see her.'I took my coat and told my assistant to reschedule my meetings.
