Chapter 41: Bundle of Joy

Holding my head with both my hands. This is making me insane. I should stop and wait for the doctors finding. Instead of relying on Mr Google.

I put my phone to my pocket and held Bella's hand.

Bella's POV

I opened my eyes, I need to empty my bladder. My eyes flew to my left side, and look at Ezra holding my left hand while seating down sleeping next to me. He looks awful. I have no idea what happened, I think I passed out at the emergency room.

I tried to take my hand off Ezra's hold. It's hard to take my hands off him. He's hand is tightly grip on mine.

I tried again. Ezra, stirs, opening his eyes and he straightened up in a hurry. Relieved to see me awake. He smiles at me.

"Hi."He said to me.

"I need to pee."I said in a whisper.

"Ofcourse. Let me help you stand."Ezra assist me in the restroom. When I said in the restroom, as in all the way inside the restroom. My husband tends to exaggerate on my health.

"You know, Ezra. I can pee on my own, right? I'm okay."I uttered to him in a hush.

"I know." He simply responded.

"Really?" I said in disbelief. "You just took off my undies and watch me pee'd inside the bathroom."I rolled my eyes at him while he helps me takes a seat on the hospital bed.

"I'm just doing my job as your loving husband."He responded, humoring me. I just shook my head.

"Isn't that a bit much, don't you think? " I asked him on his possessiveness. "You can leave me alone, you know. I can do that on my own. I'm not crippled yet." I retort

"Not happening! I'm not leaving you alone, again. EVER!He said raising his voice a bit. Which startled me. Confused on his behavior. I'm thinking what triger this side of him? He mellow down his voice and continued. " It was pure hell, the fucking thirty minutes of being away from you."He caressed my face.

Oh! I get it. His reaction is base from our separation from the emergency room. The powerful Ezra, don't have an access on everything, and that he's just a normal person who can't always get what he wants and when he wants. I smiled with that thought.

"What did the doctor say?"I asked to divert the attention.

"The Doctor said, your okay. Everything's normal. Your just exhausted. You experience a stomach cramp earlier."

"That's it?"I asked not buying what his telling me. "I felt like dying earlier."

"I'm glad your not, wife. Or I'll come after you, wherever you may be. Where you are, is where should I be." He said sincerely. Holding both my hands. And stares at me lovingly. It makes me reach out to him and kissed him.

A knock on the door disturb us.

"Excuse me, Sir. We're sorry to bother you. I just have to check your wife's chart."The nurse said.

"Come in."I welcome the nurse. She check the chart. Took my temperature. That's When the doctor got inside.

"Nice to know our patient is awake.! How are you feeling."The nurse give my chart to the doctor.
