Dancing was my passion
A passion my dad was against
But you supported me
In every way you could, mom.
When I was a kid
I didn't realize how much you've done for me
I didn't realize how expensive my passion was
I didn't realize we were in debt
I just realized you worked overseas
And all of sudden I only heard your voice over the phone
I should trust you for now, I should smile.
But I felt a little emptiness, without you, mother
I wished I could've hold you a little longer when you left
And you lifting me higher than anything above ground
Wider than anything
Underneath the blue wide sky
And even if you're not by my side
I know, as long as we see the same blue sky
Everything will be alright.
I followed my passion
I wanted to become successful
Because you did all of that for me
And I promised you I will be a good son
Now I stand here on this big stage
And I hope I became this good son I wanted to become
Mom, you can lean on me now
I'm an adult now, I will take care of you
You made me grew like a flower
Now I'll guide you through the flower path
Walking with you this way
Hand in hand.
You can trust me now, you can smile.
You helped me to feel the world
I wish I could have hold you a little longer today when I visited you
And me lifting you higher than anything above ground
Wider than anything
